Don’t get me wrong the hoagies are excellent. They have the meaty goodness you’d expect from a première deli, and of course the produce is top notch seeing how you’re buying the hoagie at a produce market. However, I regret to inform you that I’ve stopped frequenting this establishment. As if the picture of Nancy Grace displayed to the right of the deli counter wasn’t intimidating enough — the women who work the counter are beyond miserable. Rushing you along, while rolling their eyes. I swear they are meaner to other women than they are men. My old roommate, a nervous girl with hummingbird like qualities, and my fat roommate who wears the robe, would insist on getting cheese steaks, the one thing that these women absolutely hate to make — as they would bring down the frying pan and begin making the steak you could do nothing to not hear there ill-timed groans at the fact that they were actually at work, and that someone had the audacity to order something that wasn’t lunch meat. As the gas stove cooked the steak in the pan, I’d find my eyes darting around landing on the large variety of cheap tasty cake products they offer, a saving grace as I read the familiar names of Candy Cake and Butterscotch krimpet as the woman continued to express how frustrating working life really was. The guy at the counter is always cheery, and they do sell hand cream as well. Your stomach won’t regret the trip, but your mind will question forever how painstaking it must be to actually cook a cheese steak for a paying customer.

Hoagies are excellent here! Highly recommend the«perugino special» hoagie, so so good! Always fresh… My favorite spot for hoagies. Has good produce as well! Nice little market, hidden gem!
