Established in 2008.

Ambrosia assumed NEW ownership as of January 2013 and changed it name to Ambrosia MedSpa and Wellness.

Our Medical Director, Dr. Washington is the Founder of the multi location Innovative Men’s Clinic as well as the PROTECT™ Hormone Replacement Program. Dr. Washington was born and raised in Seattle where he attended college at Whitman and graduated Medical School at University of Cincinnati. He then completed an Emergency Medicine Residency program at University of Illinois at Chicago. Upon returning to the Seattle area in 2007 Dr Washington received additional training and certification in the blossoming field of Anti-​Aging medicine and interventional Endocrinology. Dr Washington first opened a men’s anti-​aging center in 2009 before his recent building of the Protect Clinic designed to address the needs of the aging woman.

Dr. Washington’s passion for hormone replacement therapy has led to over 1000 patient lifestyle interventions.

Stacie is a lifelong native of the Seattle area where she spent 15 years working in the field of Human Resources before purchasing Ambrosia in January 2013. She has always had a passion for people but also for the skin care, anti-​aging and overall health and wellness industry. Stacie decided to pursue her passion for skin care in 2012 and found herself with the exciting opportunity at Ambrosia. It is important to her that she continues to maintain the reputation and high level of client care and satisfaction that has been established by Bridget and her staff since 2008. She feels fortunate to be able to maintain the partnership with the staff so that clients continue to see great results and impeccable customer service from Ambrosia. She encourages feedback and welcomes you to contact her directly.

Death of Customer Service– If you want to experience what it means when someone says «Customer Service is DEAD» then this is the go-​to-​place. Owner is rude and lacks empathy. She did a horrible job explaining pricing to me. Pricing was ambiguous till I entered the room for my treatment. You will be treated like a second class citizen if you’re a Groupon customer. Owner doesn’t honor her commitment. I tried this place because it is close to where I live but I think it’s worth driving somewhere else where you are treated properly or not treated badly because you’re a Groupon customer. I was hoping to buy a couple of services but I’m grateful that I became aware of owner’s ways of working before I parted with my money. I suggest the owner takes some Customer Services Training course or she leaves her arrogance at the door.

The receptionist was horrible. It was impossible making an appointment and when I gave her my groupon she acted as if it was the worst thing on earth. Makes me embarrassed to use it! She was so rude and I could not believe this person is in customer service. Tip: make appointments online since being on the phone with her is definitely
a burden on her as well

This was the first place I went to get Botox on 3÷9÷11. I got two Groupons for 10 units. Per the Groupon, I was only able to use one coupon per visit. So, I bought another 10 units. I was very nervous & the technician was very good at talking me through it, especially after reading the scary waiver. When I went to pay, I asked if I could bank the unused Groupon, since you can buy & bank Botox. The receptionist said yes, so unfortunately, I did.
I was so impressed I had inquired about a few moles on my face, which I was unhappy with & was quoted $ 200. I made an appointment & had them shaved & cauterized super fast. Two have remained gone. One came back. No scarring, which was awesome since I was prone to keloid.
When I went back for my next appointment for Botox however, I was told that I used the Groupon. In fact, I was told that they used 30 units of Botox on me on my first visit & that they honored both my Groupons on my first visit too. I asked for documentation and they just showed me some handwritten scribble, not a copy of the invoice that day or anything else. In hindsight, I should have fought it with Groupon, as they have good customer service. But, I didn’t know that at the time.
Since I did not get the service I paid for, what would previously have been a high rated review, is now a place I will never return nor refer to anyone. So, I ate the $ 69 I paid for it. Sadly, they had me in service quality but lost customer loyalty in efficiency & customer service for their error.

I am a frequent spa-​goer, and Ambrosia was a very pleasant experience.
When I arrived, there was a person ahead of me occupying the receptionist, but a friendly Esthetician came out and offered to check me in.
I began my paperwork in a pleasant consultation room, where my Esthetician asked me what my skin goals were. She was extremely nice and not pushy at all.
I loved my treatment! She used Eminence products, which I had only experienced a few times before, but I loved all the scents of everything. My Esthetician was very knowledgable and was good at letting me know what she was doing.
Two complaints: one, my esthetician used an extractor tool on me for my extractions. It hurt realllly bad (My eyes were watering like crazy) and the results of it weren’t any better than when I am extracted by an Esthetician using gloved hands and no tool. Also, I have red marks on my face, (I’m sure they’ll be gone by tomorrow) but when I’ve been extracted without tools, I never experience that.
Two: The music was kind of funny… like aggressive violin and piano. But that certainly isn’t a deal breaker.
Overall, the facility is beautiful, the service was outstanding, and the prices are fair. Definitely give them a try!

I honestly love this spa. The facials are so nice and I feel like I’m a friend with my esthetician which is a huge feat in itself being an awkward young adult. I love the atmosphere, it is more clean, clinical than a home spa, but still relaxing as soon as you head into the room. What’s even more awesome? Heated bedding. No matter what, whenever I think I want a little pamper time I immediately head to Ambrosia’s website. The only downside is the pricing. It’s reasonably priced, but as a young adult, I would love a student orientated pricing, and when I used my $ 20 coupon everything turned out the same price if I hadn’t used it which definitely confused me, but my love trumps these blips.

My review services from 2009 – 2011. I was a spa member for two of these years. Meaning I paid a monthly membership price and received a microderm or facial monthly plus other discounted services and botox.
I LOVE this place! The staff was amazing! They always remembered everything about me and acted like a good friend. They were so helpful and always made me look my best. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a med spa. Their prices are reasonable and their touch and services are amazing!
I MISS this place! I moved to San Diego two years ago and am still searching for a good med spa. :-(HELP?!

I purchased a triple treat package at Ambrosia many years back and have been a fan ever since. I love the convenience of the location and the ease of getting appointments. The staff is always super friendly. I LOVE Susie — she is wonderful at facials and so fun to chat with. I’ve been a regular for years and haven’t gone anywhere else. I know they do have a new owner, but I didn’t see any changes (not that any were needed). I’d give them a try!

I live and work in Kirkland and Ambrosia Spa is so conveniently located in Juanita Village. They have fabulous customer service and they are always changing and improving the services that they offer. The owner was very helpful in recommending an eye cream that was in my price range and it has worked beautifully. I would go see them for all my facial and lazer needs.

I bought a Groupon for laser hair removal. Before I even bought it, the first thing I did was to call and ask if they had anyone working there who had experience working with people with dark skin. I was told that yes they did, and even had the equipment for it. So, I purchased the Groupon and scheduled an appointment and was paired up with Tsafrir, a lovely and kind lady. I think it may have worked. Over the course of 2 years following, I’ve noticed that the hair in the areas treated grows back slower and finer. But definitely didn’t stop the growth all together, which honestly wasn’t something I expected to happen, given that I have dark brown skin and black hair– I know the lasers have a harder time with that combination.
My main complaint is that during my second treatment, I was burned pretty badly. I’m not sure how this happened as the first treatment was fine. My skin was a little sensitive after, but not burning. My only guess is that the setting on the machine was changed and no one decided to warn me or inform me about it. (I thought at first maybe it was my fault, but as this is Seattle, in the spring, it’s not like I was running around scantily clad in the sun.) Nice! I could feel my skin burning under the surface hours after the treatment and later on, I had visible scarring (which all disappeared– THANKFULLY I heal cleanly). Literally, it felt like my skin was being cooked from the inside out for hours, which doesn’t need further description, I should think. I called almost immediately after, damn near tears, and they were sufficiently apologetic, but there was basically not much done to make up for this. I came back for Obagi, which is a fading treatment for scarring (that my skin didn’t like– I stopped using it fairly soon after I started), but beyond that and a few calls to check if my scars were fading, there was no follow-​up or gesture to make up for those issues. Disappointing.

I highly recommend Ambrosia Medspa and their team! I have had nothing but amazing care and service from these fabulous ladies. Marcy at the front desk is so very helpful, and the skin love I have received from Tsafrir and Maren has been both relaxing and healing. My skin is looking amazing. Friends and family comment on my glow — thanks to Ambrosia! Personally, I have had the microderm facial, laser hair removal and a mild peel. The products they offer for home maintenance are also amazing and I love that they have organic options. Not a once have I felt pressured or «sold» to have a particular procedure or make a purchase. They have a truly affordable skin care club for monthly patrons like myself and monthly discounts and specials on products and services.
Regarding past negative reviews, I don’t see any relevance to them at this time as they are very outdated and the complainable offenses seem to be solved. Give Ambrosia some love and they will love your skin back!

I purchased the Groupon for laser hair removal at Ambrosia. The laser hair removal itself went fine, and all of the aestheticians I had were professional in performing the actual services.
My gripe with Ambrosia has more to do with the customer service. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but the customer service was just off.
First of all, the waiting area is almost nonexistent and the magazine choices are pamphlets for services and trade magazines– not exactly fantastic reading. Second, the aesthetician would come out and whisper to the receptionist about whether I had arrived yet, when I was 5 feet away. It was just odd.
Finally, they must train their staff to interact with you in a sugary sweet way. I felt like they were talking to me in the voice people often reserve for small children and small dogs– I am neither.

4 star for the aestheticians actually doing the services (i’ve only been to 2 people but they’ve both been good).
1 star for the front-​desk staff. Unfortunately I don’t have the name of the girl I spoke to, I think it started with a C… completely rude and unprofessional, talking with an «i-don’t-really-give-a-S%#@!- what-you’re-saying» attitude.
And this is after I’ve been going there for over 6 months! Talk about treating your clients properly. As soon as my pre-​paid package is done, I will definitely not be going back. There are a ton more medspas in the the area with just-​as-​accomplished clinicians and front desk staff with the decency and intelligence to treat clients with courtesy.

*raises hand and waves* «Hello? Uh, facial newbie here. Why in the world do I need a facial? Can’t I just knead my own face and make funny expressions in the mirror and accomplish the same thing?» Oh boy, do I have a LOT to learn.
Went to see Bridget on the recommendation of a friend with phenomenal skin. If not for the bargain of the Triple Treat, I may not have booked my first appointment. About the only thing my cheap ass will spend money on is my hair, but those days have officially come to an end with my first visit to Ambrosia. Uh oh, I’m in trouble now.
I have never had a facial nor microderm before. Yep, almost made it to my fourth decade as a facial virgin. I walked in feeling really intimidated (fear of the unknown…) but Susie and Bridget both immediately put me at ease. Bridget showed me to a room and let me know I could go ahead and change into the comfy towel-​wrap thingie, put my things in a basket off to the side, climb into the spa bed, and she’d be back soon. At which point, my un-​facial-​spa-​educated brain said, «HUH?!? I need to disrobe for this? But it’s just my face!» I am laughing at myself as I write this review, but it was a surprise to me so guess what, you get a good giggle at my ignorance.
Once properly comfy-​towel-​wrap-​thingie attired, I climbed into the warm bed and wanted to stay there for the rest of the day. Seriously comfy. I felt… swaddled. Bridget came in and made an adjustment to the covers at my feet so I didn’t inadvertently slide off the end of the table off into the abyss, and then we began. Bridget was great about explaining every detail, especially important for someone like me who would rather have too much information than not enough. When it came to the microderm, I was pleasantly surprised to feel a cat’s-tongue sensation accompanied by a very, very slight suction. As though Fluffy were Hoovering my face. It was actually a neat sensation, although my description doesn’t do it justice. By the time the end came, I was NOT ready to surface back to reality and roll my bum out of that comfy place.
Next up, a quick dusting of mineral makeup and I was good to go. Poor Susie had to help me out with the tip when I paid, as my brain was officially goo at that point. Lovely blissed out feeling, let me tell you!
I’ve already booked my next appointment and I know this will become a regular thing. And yes, Seattleites, it IS worth trekking over to the Eastside for Bridget. She rocks.

I found Ambrosia thru a groupon for a microderm abrasion facial. I was reluctant to drive to the east side but it was a great deal. I loved it. I joined their membership and get a house facial and laser treatment for sun damage monthly. My skin looks amazing so its worth the drive.
Ambrosia has always been clean, relaxing, and had a minimal wait time.

I can’t say enough good things about this place and the staff, even after a year!
I have always wanted to be able to go make-​up free (as in no foundation) but my skin was so bad there was just no way. However, today I only wear a mineral sunscreen thanks to Ambrosia.
That is a really big deal and makes every penny spent there worth it.
