I saw a groupon deal, and despite all the negative reviews in Unilocal and Groupon, i was hoping that it might turn out to be good. My mistake! Incredibly rude staff! i booked an appt for today, 2 weeks back. They give me an appointment for 1.45pm and once i go there, they tell me at 1.55pm that they are too busy to take me in, and that i need to reschedule. On top of all that when i asked why, the front desk lady tells infront of my face that she doesnt have time to talk/​argue to me. and that somebody else can explain me! seriously? I drove 45 mins to reach your place, and you made me wait in front of you while you are happily chatting with your friend, and then tell me that you are too busy that you cannot take me in? They also made sure they redeem my groupon before they told me this, otherwise i would have atleast had a chance to talk to groupon and reimburse my money! Big time cheaters and they just treat customers like low lives! I am hoping groupon will reimburse my money and i would never go back there after that.

Worst experience ever!!! Showed up for my appt at Kirkland clinic and was told it would be 15 – 20 minutes. Left and came back and waited another ten minutes before asking how much longer. Was told another 15 – 20 minutes. Waited longer and asked again and was told it would be another 15 – 20 minutes (been her an hour now). Told front desk person — Katy — that I needed to leave and wanted my money back for the services. Was told absolutely not. I said that I would then contact my credit card company and get a refund and she said «then I will sue you and take you to court». Then said I was done and leaving and would be posting a bad review and went and got in my car. Katy follows me out to the parking lot and stands in front of the clinic and NO KIDDING gives me the finger and tells me to f**k off. No joke. Most unprofessional experience I have had in my life. Unbelievable. How does this place exist??? How is this person a manager???

This place is a fraud. The so called Doctor is extremely rude. My mom had paid 2000 dollars for a skin treatment. She’s only had one now and she got some skin infection. The so called Doctor didn’t even know what to prescribe, actually she doesn’t even know if is an infection or a rash. I think she should be checked for her credentials. I urge everyone to stop going to this place. We have to teach this person a a lesson. Worse absolutely the worse customer service in the whole country I would say. She doesn’t even answer my mom her phone calls anymore. This place needs to shut down. I will do anything in my power to make sure this place closes forever.

I have spent hundreds of dollars on facials and fotofacials and have seen zero results. It’s impossible to get a package appt and it’s absolutely ridiculous that they don’t have a real receptionist to answer phones kindly. The owner answers and she cuts you off, accidentally hangs up on you then is abrasive and rude. I wish she would listen to how she treats people paying her good money. I don’t understand how they are still in business. There are tons of places out there who treat you well, make you feel like a valued customer and deliver on promises… Please try them first

This place has terrible customer service. The front desk help is rude and condescending. I called to reschedule an appointment and they required that I pay $ 25 dollars before rescheduling. I’ve shown up on time or early for my appointments and I’ve had to wait up to 40 minutes after my expected appointment time. I’ve had three laser sessions and the technicians did not explain the procedures very well. I also have not seen good results with the laser treatments as well.

Horrific, I just called and talked to the owner Katy, I told her that I watch the technicians and how they laser and that some leave spaces in between shooting the laser and others don’t even laser in detail (I’m getting full Brazilian and button) each tech lasers different spots and is less or more thorough, the bald spots I get after are directly correlated to the spots she never lasered. I watch while it’s being done! And as soon as I said that Katy laughed at me! Then told me I must be very misinformed and proceeded to say thank you buy and hung up on me, so did her receptionist. She sounds very nice in the responses here on groupon but is much more condescending and laughs at you on the phone. I’m filing a complaint as we speak with the better business bureau and office of the attorney general Washington state. I hope everyone else who had a horrible experience and was laughed at does the same

My sister went in a week ago today for Botox/​Groupon at this business. From the moment she walked in she felt uncomfortable. Should has trusted her gut. I too was going to go in but after her experience NO WAY. She is still severely bruised all over her face! A week later! She has repeatedly called with no one making it right! Not only are these «medical» procedures, but what about customer service? After reading all of the negative reviews, I wish she would have read them BEFORE she went in and gave them her trust, and her hard earned money! Awful place! Stay the hell away!

The laser hair removal was completely ineffective. Very slight change after 6 treatments. Looks like most people feel the same. I regret spending money on treatments that yielded little to no results.

I have done Botox for 5 years from a local Doctor, NEVER have I had a bruise from An injection. To save some money, I purchased a Groupon from Aura Laser Skin Care. I booked an appointment with the Kirkland facility. Dr. Layla performed the injections. My appointment felt rushed, the injections done quickly and random. I returned to my car, checked my face, and found 5 – 6 injection spots, bleeding excessively. I can’t believe she let me leave in this condition. Once home I immediately began cleaning up my bloody injection sites, discovering a horribly bruised region outside my left eye! The careless treatment of 3 injection sites caused 3 large, swollen bruises. I have never been bruised, I don’t bruise easily.

RUN!!! OMG! There is a reason for ALL THE REVIEWS ARE 1 STAR. Everyone cant be wrong. look at all their reviews, they are all bad! I didn’t even make it through the door and had a horrible experience. I have had the best experiences with groupon etc. this is one business that needs groupon to make money. I went to redeem my voucher about a month after I bought it. when I told her that I was pregnant she said that I needed to wait until after I had the baby but that they would allow me to use the voucher expired since I wasn’t a candidate. like a fool I trusted her. I had my baby and called to schedule the service. The girl who answered the phone was so rude. she refused to give me her name and refused to talk to the front desk person who was working at that time. I was sure she would remember it, I was pregnant with a broken ankle. I told her I would be leaving a bad review and how unprofessional she was and asked for her name and a supervisor she refused. She hung up on me then she redeemed my voucher knowingly and falsely claiming I used it. isnt that theft? it was all recorded on speaker phone so I would have proof. I couldnt believe it I told her I wanted her name again, as well as to find out how to use the credit. She said that groupon had my money and if I ever called again she would call the police. Then did call the police. The officer after hearing my side laughed and said well now you can get a refund if you call groupon and tell them your not allowed to go there! goes to show you record everything so you have proof. great business! I can only imagine what the drs are like if they allow their front desk people to refuse to provide their names or allow them to talk to someone else. I’m so glad it was recorded so you could see never yelled or swore or anything! with all the choices find another clinic. called groupon and they were shocked as well and gladly refunded every dime.

I made the appointment on the 13th, but the appointment is for today, August 20th. They marked it as redeemed prior to the appointment. I have a phone reminder and 2 imessage texts as proof as well as a video of the unprofessional behavior of Katie, the receptionist, but also claiming to be, however not wholly acting as such, one of the three managers. I arrived at 1:30 for the 1:45 appointment. At 1:50 I asked how late they were running. Katie laughed, saying I should never expect a Dr. to be on time. She took me to the intake room, asked questions and took photos after I filled in 4 papers of information.
I waited until 2:30, 45 minutes after, and I was told they didn’t know how much longer, but 3 others had been admitted that arrived after me. A woman who was also waiting there asked to use my pen to record the receptionist’s name Kaitin. Katie came back and said, «oh now you’re friends! You don’t need her name. I’m refusing both you service. Get out! Contact Groupon, they’ll give you the money back.» It was as if she had a bipolar problem. I’m sad for her and those who must be around her daily. She had me fooled, she was chummy with me up to the point that I loaned my pen to the other patient who was waiting and wanted to know the anticipated time of intake.
I wasted 2 hours for nothing. The negativeYelp reviews are accurate. I couldn’t believe it until having been treated so poorly. It might be best to not allow them to sell groupons as she sent both of us out. I asked her for a receipt or something documenting her choice — but I did catch some of her outrage on video.
Such a 1st world problem and so sad we cannot spend this energy on helping others!
What I witnessed was much like Anglea F. wrote: defensive and extremely passive agressive. The groupon mentioned two locations, yet they actually only have the Kirkland location in a strip mall. How long can they survive without providing treatment, redeeming groupons when they’ve not yet been used, then allowing Katie to yell at clients because a quiet potential client asked for the receptionist’s name??? Truly day-​time TV material in this place.

DO NOT go here for Botox. They have the worst service possible. Once you purchase a GroupOn, they take your money and then don’t provide the service they promised. They aren’t even a part of the Brilliant Distinction program. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!!!
BAD BAD BAD. They probably dilute the Botox anyway!

This place is poorly organized. I bought a groupon for hair removal and was supposed to get appointments on a regular basis. They canceled on me at the last moment 3 times! And then it is very difficult to get another appointment, as they are fully booked couple weeks out.
The last time they rescheduled me, I was already in the room ready for the treatment. This was the last drop. I contacted the groupon with a complain and they issued a full refund.
Do not go to this place if you value your time.
Also, they have a sign saying something about negative Unilocal reviews, I did not read it, but figured out they discourage their customers from posting negative reviews. Very funny.

If you want a snapshot of what your experience will be like at Aura Laser Skin Care, you should not only read the plethora of negative feedback but check out the responses that management has posted. They are defensive and extremely passive aggressive. They have two locations, both equally horrifying. One reviewer mentioned that Aura is threatening to sue for leaving a bad review.
There is no excuse for the way this place chooses to treat their customers. I was another groupon victim. I called to make an appointment and was basically told to f@&$ off if I couldn’t fit their narrow availabilities into my schedule. The women told me to «call Groupon if I didn’t like it». She refused to give me her name but said she was the manager and then hung up on me. It was awful.

This place is a SCAM. Certainly don’t pay full price — but don’t try purchasing from Groupon or Living Social.
When I originally bought my package it was impossible to get through on their phone lines (always busy)… Then when I was able to get thru I went to voice mail… and calls were NEVER returned. When I was able to get 2 appointments scheduled — they were fine. When I showed up for my third appointment I was told they were running behind schedule and they could get to me in 5 – 10 additional minutes. After 25 minutes after my original appointment time and listening to what sounded like a party at the back of the office I had no choice but to leave. I called at a later date to reschedule my appointment. When I called to confirm the date and time I was told I did not have an appointment scheduled and that they only showed I had one service remaining (I had two). When I pressed the matter — they confirmed I indeed had two. I was told that they would need to have «IT» research my appointment and would get back to me that week. They never did. Again — I called back and the same person who took my call told me they never had IT look into the appointment — it was about the number of procedures I had remaining. Again — we confirmed I had two remaining and I rescheduled the appointment (in Kirkland because I was told their Bothell location was shut for damage). Today I showed up at 11:30 and was told they had no record of my appointment and that I only had 1 procedure remaining. When I asked if she could tell me who answers calls for the business so I could tell her who I had been speaking to she told me there were several people and she could not share their names. This was the first professional receptionist I have met there and I told her it was not her fault — but that this was a SCAM. If this business treats potential customers this way — why would I trust them to treat my skin with lasers or acid. By the way — they claim if they don’t pay Unilocal money their bad reviews won’t be removed. Guess what? This is a HORRIBLE SCAM and they need to be put out of business. I recommend others who have lost money to this company contact the Better Business Bureau and the Washington State Attorney General’s office. That’s where I’m going next.

I am having the same experience as Sabrina. My daughter and I are both trying to have full leg laser hair removal, but at this rate it will take years. Whenever I see that it is Aura calling me, my stomach sinks. It is almost always to cancel my appt. This happened again today and it will end up being months since our last treatment, assuming they do not reschedule yet again. My schedule is very busy as well, but when I make an appt., I keep it.

I had the worst experience of my life at this place. After being sold a Co2 laser procedure, the doctor applied numbing cream to my face and it got in my eyes! So my eyes became numb. so the doctor used a syringe to wash my eyes out. At some point while my eyes were numb, both of my corneas were abraised! Most likely, it was when they were being rinsed. When the numbing cream wore off, it was the most excruciating pain I had ever felt! I went to the ER for treatment that night in horrifying pain and spent the next several days in bed with my eyes closed in the dark.
This place didnt give me a refund or offer any sort of remedy for what happened to me. No words can describe how bad this place is.

I’m not sure why it has such low ratings. I’ve had at least half a dozen laser sessions thus far and at least that many left so if anything changes I will update my review.
–Crissy the assistant manager is always helpful and willing to work with my hectic schedule when scheduling the next session.
–She was also accommodating when I made requests.
–Convenient locations.
–Easy in-​and-​out sessions.
–Used a Groupon without any issues from Aura.
Only reason it’s not getting 4 stars is because the goggles they give you are a bit gross. The first pair I received were old and falling apart and had white-​out all over them and the other ones are oily sometimes. Also, it’s cold in the treatment rooms. That being said, they do provide a blanket during the session.
