Blue Sky Cleaners – Kirkland

I really (really!) wanted to love this place since it’s right next to my condo – it would just be so convenient– but I wasn’t impressed. Honestly, I am not quite sure how they have such amazing reviews. I’ve been there twice and even though the staff members are nice the prices are outrageous compared to other cleaners in the area. I dropped off some items and then inquired about the price which was much too high and requested to pick them up. The staff member agreed, I picked them up and took them to my usual cleaner. Unfortunately they «forgot» to give me one of my pieces and it was sent out. When I came to pick it up (after they called to inform me of their mistake) they charged me for it! I understand it was cleaned but I asked for everything back and at the end of the day it was their mistake. I decided to stick with my usual cleaner who is not right next to my building, but a much better price point, organic and has better service.

Super friendly and helpful service! Very reliable, clean and toxin-​free. I appreciate their attention to detail, specifically La’s personal service and customer relations.

Always on time, or even a little early and they typically will sew buttons back on when they fall off. None of that dry cleaning chemical smell either.

Great service and well laundered clothes. I’ve used Blue Sky (used to be Fox) cleaners for a while now. My clothes always come back clean and nicely pressed. I recently wanted to gets some buttons added to a pair of slacks so I could use suspenders. The staff was happy to do it. It took only a couple hours and there was no charge! Now that’s service.

I’ve been going to Blue Sky Cleaners in Kirkland for a few months. I had two principal concerns for choosing a cleaner; 1) Chemicals/​perfume/​scent, 2) Location/​convenience.
Blue Sky is a toxin-​free cleaner, which checked the box of the primary concern I had. I tend to be very sensitive to fragrances, perfumes and toxic smells. I’m not sensitive to them on my skin, but I’d rather not be wearing heavy chemicals all day long if I can avoid it. My clothes do not have any offensive odors at all when I pick them up. And that’s something I’ve NEVER been able to say about any other cleaner.
As for location/​convenience, they’re centrally located in downtown Kirkland. Their hours cover a broad spectrum of the day. Between these two things it’s pretty much ideal for me.
Now they also have a free pickup/​drop-​off service for home and/​or work. You can have items picked up at one location and dropped off at another. I haven’t used this yet because it’s been so convenient for me to drop off in the morning on my way to work and pick up after work, but I’ve considered it.
I didn’t have price as a primary concern when looking for a cleaner. That being said, Blue Sky seems to be quite a bit more expensive than other cleaners I’ve used in the past. And if all things were equal between cleaners, I’d very likely go elsewhere as my weekly bill isn’t insignificant.
But all things aren’t equal between cleaners.

I have been in Kirkland for 11+ years and have always used this cleaners as it’s close to home and easy in and out. The prices have gone up with the new company but I’ll keep dropping my cleaning off. The staff is very nice and La (usually works M-​F) has known my name from the start!

Friendly staff, quick turn around, clean location with easy parking. The price is just over $ 20 for a suit (jacket and pants), so not the most cost effective place; however, when you need dry cleaning you need dry cleaning.

Laundry was due back on a Monday, went in late Tuesday, but it was still not there due to some sort of «malfunction». I was still charged full price upwards of $ 3 a shirt. So to be fair; the quality of the cleaning was good, but quality of the service was poor. For $ 3 a shirt (these are men’s shirts, this is not a tux) I’ll go find another place. Their location is prime, they also have that going for them.

Great service, every time. Friendly, fast, and they do a great job as well. And it’s locally owned!

Just used this place for the first time because it is close to my new place. Cost wise they are a bit pricey but really not more so than the rest of the dry cleaners in the area. They do a great job and do a great job documenting what you brought in to them.
One perk that I like is that with dress shirts they ask you how much starch you want and if you want the shirt folded or on a hanger. I’ll be back for sure

This is amazing. I guess they used to have a shop in Seattle, but who cares. You call and they’ll schedule you for regular pick up and drop off service at no additional charge. Great dry cleaners, fabulous service!
