We worked with Christine on a loan for a new condo purchase in Downtown Seattle. She was very informative and patient with our questions and offered to meet and speak on the phone at our convenience, usually after normal work hours. We ended up going with another lender because they are a friend of a friend, but we really appreciated her consultation and enjoyed working with her. She was also very receptive to matching /​beating competing offers!

Just locked a home loan on a condo with them, basically because we ran out of time. I really wanted to like them since my realtor whom I’ve had a great experience with recommended caliber, but they failed in almost every way. the online loan application was easy and convenient to fill out. Everything after that was poor at best. First of all I was made to feel like they were doing me a favor whenever they deemed it necessary to return a phone call. They would remind me of how busy they were before squeezing me in for short 1 – 2 minute talks. I called probably a dozen times during their business hours and talked to a live person 3 times. If you’re going through the loan approval/​application everything is time sensitive, so it was frustrating that my phone calls were only returned to «apologize» for rising interest rates, with continued advice to float my loan out. Following my loan officers advice on floating my loan ended up with an interest rate .40% higher than my original estimated rate. Finally they took no time to explain anything about my loan, no review to make sure I understand the terms, and when I asked for clarification on terms I didn’t understand I was given a rushed exasperated explanation that made me feel like it wasn’t my loan officers job to help me understand my loan or the process.
In summary, made me feel like a small fish by barely giving me the time of day, poor etiquette in answering and returning phone calls, and poor advice on the direction of interest rates costing me money.

Christine and her team were a fantastic help during our home buying process. Before selecting a home, she helped explain the entire process to us, what our options are, and things to keep in mind. Once we found a home, her team helped the whole way. Our offer was accepted shortly before Christmas, and even with the breaks when people were on vacation or tough to reach, Christine was always in contact quickly. Her team kept us appraised on what was happening when, and made sure we were able to be prepared for everything that would be required. The loan was ready to go well in advance of closing, which is particularly impressive with the holiday season, so they worked fast to get everything in order. Highly recommended.

Christine and her team at Cobalt helped secure the loan for me for our jumbo mortgage. The process was complicated because I had just returned from a 1 year stint in Europe, and getting all necessary documentation was sometimes challenging or impossible. Christine and Kris as well as Marisa who were my primary contacts helped me find alternative documentation and ways to close the loan, and were very responsive, patient and detail oriented through the whole process. The result was that the paperwork delays from my end caused closing to be pushed out, but by only 2 days (from 30 to 32). Christine was also always available –right from an urgent preapproval being needed on a Sunday to connecting with the listing broker on her own initiative to communicate confidence about my financial situation. Overall, I am highly satisfied with the professionalism, level of communication and reliability of Christine’s team, which made the experience as pleasant as it could possibly be.

We have worked with Christine several times since moving to Seattle and she has been wonderful.
The 1st time we worked with her she SAVED us from a horrible broker (remaining nameless) who was full of promises but almost lost our home purchase for us. He had «helped» us for 25 days and we pulled the plug on him and she closed it all in days, just under our deadline!
She is professional and knowledgeable and has obtained a competitive rate/​fee structure for us every time. A wonderful team she has there!
