My family and I have been going to Dr. Chen’s office for many years. They are always on time. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Mostly importantly, Dr. Chen is a great dentist and very patient. He always takes his time to answer my questions. I highly recommend Dr. Chen!

I concur with the rest of the positive reviews! He is a super laidback and personable dude. His assistants are awesome and his facility is modern and clean. Great location and convenient appointment times. However, I deduct one point for the not-​so convenient dental hygenist times, and she is the one who does all the cleanings, and it’s sorta difficult to see her when you’d like. Also, their Saturday appointments are all booked in advanced, so if you’re a newbie, you are SOL, which is no bueno.

No longer are the days of sitting in the chair (waiting hours on end) and when the dentist finally arrives, he says no more than, «Any problems with your teeth?» Dr Chen’s dental practice is top notch! It’s not too often I can say that I am «wow“ed, by a business (in the service industry) these days, but Dr. Chen and his staff never cease to amaze me! They are always friendly, on-​time, gentle, and very informative.
It probably seems strange that I’m touting a dental practice so much, but I firmly believe it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to run a successful business — just deliver great service, and you’re on you way! A concept that is so lacking these days, unfortunately.
Visit Dr. Chen’s office! You’ll never have to change dentists again!

The only reason I am not giving a 5 star rating is that I have only been to Dr. Chen once but I was very impressed. The staff was friendly and professional and I had a tooth that hurt but he approached it with a first step, explained what he thought that the problem was, suggested that he make some adjustments to the work that my previous dentist had done and see if that solved the problem. He was soft spoken, considerate and absolutely seemed to know his stuff. I will absolutely go back.

I’ve tried quite a few dentists since living in Seattle 4 years. I think I’ve found The One I want to stick with! Here’s why:
1) David Chen and staff respect my time.
My previous dentist charged you if you were late, yet I always ended up waiting in the lobby to be seen.
2) I’m treated like a patient, not a drive through window customer. He was super friendly, made me feel comfortable, got to know me.
My previous dentist was always rushed and crammed as many patients in one day as possible. I never felt special. =(
3) One on One Time. The Dentist himself actually sees you and consults with you and cleans your teeth. The hygienist was also nice.
I hated how my previous dentist was like a ghost. He’d waltz in after the hygienist finished all the work, say ‘everything looks ok’, and leave again to the next patient.
4) NO weird charges after your visit! The office manager calls up your insurance to make sure everything they do is covered, or else they let you know.
Previous dentist would send me random bills in the mail that if I had known weren’t covered by insurance, I would’ve asked how much their services are.
5) SUPER nice staff and dentist himself. They seems to CARE about me, not trying to make money.
My previous dentist referred me to who was obviously his buddy for wisdom teeth removal, for which i was quoted a staggering sum.
David Chen took the extra time to explain why I should/​should not have my wisdom teeth taken out. He was super knowledgeable, patient and treated me as a DOCTOR to a patient, not like Dodi Nov who was like ‘take them out. here’s a number. call my friend’.
Conclusion: Really nice office. Nice staff. Great doctor. Super friendly. If I had kids I’d take them to this guy; he puts you at ease. Doesn’t rip you off.
