Diedrich Espresso

Needed a quick stop here in Kirkland so came to this little gem. I love how they have so many options and the gal was very helpful (even read a package for me)
Love that they have ice cream base too!

Great coffee, live the white big train powder! Very expensive however! $ 6.25 for a 16oz black and white Is way over priced. Plus extra for credit card fees. Wish there prices were better and I would return. The coffee was great tho!

This is just a little drive-​up coffee kiosk next to a gas station at a very busy intersection. If you’re headed in the right direction, it’s a great place to stop for a quick, handcrafted mocha or latte. The gals who work here are friendly and the service is quick — and unlike the neighborhood «big chain coffee» drive-​thru, there’s not usually much of a wait. Get a punch card and every so often, get a free drink.
The downside? Good luck if you need to make a left turn on the way out!

I’ve popped in and out of this place for years. It’s a side of town, and a side of busy intersection, I don’t often go to.
There is nowhere I want to go anywhere near my place of employment so I found myself using my lunch as drive and music time on the hunt for coffee.
I remembered this place, and it’s a quick pop-​off/​pop-​on freeway trip from the quick coffee dead zone where I work.
Great coffee, decent prices (not the lowest in the area, but still cheaper than ThatBigChainPeopleStillGoTo), a pretty big list of additional snacks, treats, other drinks and things to create yourself a quick meal. They have something called pancake sandwiches – that intrigue me, but not enough to order yet.
Friendly staff, relatively quick service. Do watch out for the 50 cent fee for using a card.
I’ve been pleased with the quality of my drinks enough recently to ask for a punch card, which I don’t do unless I know I’ll be repeat enough to warrant yet another piece of something or other in my car.

Now that I work in Kirkland I had to find a new coffee joint to stop at every morning, and since I was a barista for 8 years I am beyond picky with my coffee. Just cuz I know exactly how I like it, but the girls here in the morning are amazing. Always so sweet and upbeat but not so in your face bubbly that it’s annoying. And the coffee blend is great! I definitely recommend this place to everyone. and they have like 8 stand or something like that, so the owner must be doing something right !

They have powder white chocolate! I’m a coffee snob and have high expectations! Every girl has made an amazing drink for me each time. Pay with cash so you don’t get hit with a card fee! Stopping here is my new morning ritual :)

Their coffee is phenomenal! I drink coffee every single day like most Seattlites do, and I love coming to this espresso stand because I know my coffee will always be good quality. The girls are sweet and friendly defiantly worth a try.
