Mackenzie is truly an expert and I can’t imagine having my first Brazilian experience with anyone else. She had done my brows before (perfection, by the way) but really used her skills and knowledge to help me after my first wax.
She was thorough, quick, and even humorous during the wax itself. Due to my hair and sensitive skin, I required further treatment the following day AND the day after that! Mackenzie met me on a moments notice to help ensure my skin was taken care of and to get the results we both wanted. The high frequency treatment, product recommendations, and general self-​care advice was above and beyond service! Mackenzie is the only person I trust with my skin… An absolutely satisfying experience and I highly recommend this gem.

Mackenzie is awesome at what she does! I’ve gone to her to get my brows/​lip waxed multiple times and I’ve always been happy with the results. She’s super friendly and has such a kind heart! The boutique itself is very cute with friendly staff, wouldn’t want anyone else to wax my brows :) highly recommend going to her!

Wow wow wow! I got my eyelashes permed and tinted for my 30^th birthday. Mackenzie was so professional but sweet and kind and welcoming. It felt like she understood exactly what I wanted and how I liked me eyelashes to look.
When Mackenzie showed me the final product of the hour and a half of laying on the table with my eyes closed (nap time!) I started to cry because of how wonderful it looked. I had been waiting to find someone to fix my eyelashes for years and it was a miracle to look at my lashes and see how I always wished they looked!
I’m so excited to go back for my next appointment. She’s amazing! I told all my friends to go to her and even bought a gift card for my best friend to get her eyebrows done.

This girl is AMAZING at waxing! She is a true artist! I was really nervous to get a Brazilian and she made it really comfortable and even made me LAUGH while it was going down! She does my brows (best they’ve ever looked) and my lip as well. Super clean and fast too. I’m looking forward to getting a facial from her-​my next apt is already booked!

Mackenzie is AWESOME! I have my second appointment tonight. She made my brows perfect. Every last hair was removed and there was almost no pain. She uses a different type of wax that was very gentle on my skin. Her place is calm and quiet. I was able to relax and get my brows done at the same time. I’m hooked!

If you want to have the best microdermabrasion facial ever you will come here! Mackenzie cares a lot about attention to detail and making sure to be attentive to your skin’s needs than any other esthetician I’ve ever been to. She will spend all the time necessary to make sure you have fresh, clean, and clear skin before you walk out. She uses top of the line products that will show results immediately, leaving any client smiling out the door. I absolutely loved the results after my micro facial. I’ve never had such a thorough cleansing, deep extracting, and exfoliating all in one kind of treatment done by any other. Truly worth it! You won’t be disappointed! Nothing better than seeing huge improvements in your skin!

I went to Mackenzie for the first time last week and was super impressed! I got a brow wax and a facial. The brows were amazing & she listened to exactly what I asked (in regards to shape, thickness). My skin was also breaking out badly, so I ended up getting a facial. It’s been just a few days from the facial and my skin has almost cleared up :)

MacKenzie is a brow goddess! She is not only super sweet, but a perfectionist, which is very important when it comes to my brows. She tailored my appointment to my needs. I especially appreciated when she dabbed a bit of brow tint in areas where the hairs are lighter instead of doing an all-​over tint which I’ve had before at another salon and didn’t like. There’s a reason why she has many 5 star reviews. Run, don’t walk, to MacKenzie! You won’t be disappointed!

Mackenzie is AMAZING! I have never been super confident in my eyebrows, but after Mackenzie fixed me up, my eyebrows are definitely «on fleek» and I am so confident and happy with them! She did a Brow Tint and a Brow Wax and a Lash Tint. She also groomed my 17 year old brothers eyebrows and worked a miracle on his! He loves them. Along with her superior talent, Mackenzie’s new space is so cozy and nice and is in such a convenient location! She makes you feel right at home and you can relax and enjoy getting pampered because you know you will be well taken care of. After seeing Mackenzie, there isn’t anyone else I would ever want to do my eyebrows or eyelashes other than her! I highly recommend her to anyone and everyone.

Mackenzie is hands down THE best person to see in LA to get your eyebrows done with. I have been seeing Mackenzie for over a year now and I would never see another person. She is very detail oriented and has a good eye for perfection. If you are anal and don’t trust most people with some things as precious as our faces GO SEE MACKENZIE. I have the best brows because of her! Do not miss out! These people are very hard to find and we all know this. If it makes a difference this is my first Unilocal ever. I never felt it to be necessary until I met this woman. She is phenomenal!

I have been seeing Mackenzie since she started her business. She’s amazing! I see her regularly for Brazilian wax, brows and eye lash perm. She uses hard wax which makes the experience less painful. She is really clean and meticulous. I would recommend Mackenzie’s services to anyone!

I’ve been going to Mackenzie for a while now… She is such a doll!
My mother found her (via Unilocal) and recommended that I see her when I was thinking about a Brazilian wax near the end of my pregnancy. Mackenzie did an amazing job! She is efficient, clean, and friendly! Probably the least painful wax of my life.
I have visited her since then and received the same fantastic quality of service. She also did my brows, and they looked great! She recommended that my mother get a brow tint, lash perm & lash tint done. My mom looked 10 years younger afterwards! I did a lash tint to test the waters, and I was thrilled with the results — I have light hair and the tint really makes my blue eyes pop.
If you’re looking for a good waxing spot — this is where you want to be! Mackenzie uses hard wax which is unusual but the ONLY way to go (in my opinion). It’s less painful than other methods and she works so quickly. I drive to her from Mid-​City LA. If you know how much Angelenos hate to leave the city for errands & services — then you know how good she must be if I say she’s well worth the trip!

This review is long overdue because I love Mackenzie! She is the sweetest person ever and amazing at her job. I don’t know how she makes my eye brows look so good but she does. I’ve had years of awful tweeze/​wax jobs that my eyebrows are a bit sparse in some areas. Somehow when she’s finished with them, they look full and perfectly shaped. She’s FANTASTIC! I love her facials too. She really takes her time and your skin is glowing afterwards. Mackenzie is very accommodating with working you into her schedule. I’m awful at making appointments ahead of time so I often last minute text her for an emergency wax and she will make it work. I will never go to another person because I trust her so much. You won’t be disappointed with her at all.

I have short stubby eyelashes but was always too scared to get a lash perm/​tint. I thought it wouldn’t make a difference. But I went to Mackenzie and she made me a BELIEVER! She has the steadiest hand– so I even though I have sensitive eyes I was comfortable the entire time. She explained the process, was very patient, and made me feel awesome! Go to Mackenzie… She knows what will work for you to make you look your best! She also gives great advice for everything– brows, skin, makeup etc. She’s a miracle worker!

What a great place!!! I will not go anywhere else!!! Mackenzie is AMAZING! She makes your experience as painless as possible. She is soooo sweet and easy to have conversation with. I have never once felt uncomfortable while getting a Brazilian done by Mackenzie!
Her salon is super clean! No double dipping here! And there is parking in the back so you don’t have to worry about that!

If you’re looking for an esthetician you can stop your search now because you’ve found her — Mackenzie is the ONLY person to go to because she is AMAZING!!! I honestly don’t even know where to start this review because I adore her so much! I (like many of the reviews below) also followed her from the previous salon she was at because she is perfection, and you cannot find better. I go to Mackenzie for eyebrows, Brazilian, and leg waxing.
I’ll start with eyebrows — I honestly look at my brows every day and think, «I LOVE MACKENZIE!!!» No joke! Before I started going to her, my brows were fine — always done but nothing to write home about. But now they are PERFECT!!! I don’t say this to toot my own horn, I say this because it is just so crazy what a difference she has made and I honestly thank her in my head every single day! She is the MASTER and I would not trust ANYONE else!
Now to waxing — again, PERFECTION! She is quick, thorough, and somehow makes a waxing experience FUN! ;-D Crazy, right? She is so sweet and fun to talk to and always makes you feel comfortable. Are there any newbies out there? If so, I know that a first wax can be daunting, but Mackenzie will be your girl! She’ll make you feel at ease and the hard wax she uses is the best you’ll find. Also, I’ve always noticed that she’ll NEVER double dip as that can sometimes be a concern at other places.
All in all, I cannot recommend her enough!!! She’s accommodating, detail oriented and as sweet as they come! Go pay her a visit, you won’t be sorry!

Can you say obsessed with this sweet girl. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Mackenzie!!! I had been getting waxed by the same lady for a few years and a friend took me to her wax girl, Mackenzie. Immediately I noticed that Mackenzie didn’t double dip her sticks. That was new to me and she was patient enough to explain why that was unsanitary and why I shouldn’t get waxed by anyone that double dips. I was SOLD! She is so friendly and makes you feel super comfy. She uses hard wax which is the best if you don’t like pain. Her technique helps ease the pain and sometimes you don’t feel anything at all. My wax lasts me 4 – 6 weeks.
I was also looking into lash extensions and saw how expensive they were. I have pretty long healthy lashes so Mackenzie thought I should try her lash perm. I was going out of town for a birthday get together so I decided to try the lash perm and when I say NO LASH EXTENSIONS FOR ME! I loved the lash perm. My eyes look so wide open and fancy. lol. It has been 3 wks and my lashes are still so curled. They look great without mascara.
Mackenzie is super clean and her place smells amazing. (I always compliment her on the smell when I walk in).
If you need a great place for waxing, facials, lash perms, makeup, or a good talk (lol) MACKENZIE IS YOUR LADY!!! YOU WON’T BE SORRY! She is definitely becoming a hot commodity with the celebs. –she’s modest and won’t say anything. :)
