Welcome to Mathisen Piano. Offering professional piano tuning and service in your local Kirkland /​Bothell neighborhoods. Your piano is in good care and keeping with Mathisen Piano. We want to make sure your piano stays in proper playing condition for many years. Pianos should be tuned every 6 months or as needed for proper maintenance. This is recommend by Steinway and Sons, New York. Tuning every 6 months accommodates for seasonal changes in temperature and humidity. At minimum, make sure your piano gets tuned once a year to maintain its tension and ensure a more stable piano for years to come.

History

Established in 2012.

Mathisen Piano was founded on the Olympic peninsula. To better serve more clientele, Mathisen Piano moved to Sammamish wa in 2012 to begin serving King County. At this time Mathisen Piano predominately serves the tight nit East Side community including Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, and Sammamish. Other near by areas are also included. The focus of the business from the beginning is to provide quality piano tuning and service, to be reasonably priced, and to treat the customer and their home with care and respect.

Manager

Leif Mathisen is a technician for Steinway and Sons New York, and serves clients in the Greater Seattle area. Prior to becoming a piano technician, he studied and performed in classical music for around 10 years. This included performing pieces from Mozart and Rachmoninoff as a memeber of the symphony, as well as training in classical guitar. Leif values treating customers with love and respect.
