Radiant Smiles Family Dental

My boyfriend recommended Radiant Smiles after he needed to have his wisdom teeth removed. He was incredibly happy with their services, so when it came time for us to go in for a check-​up, we decided to take the whole family! They scheduled myself, my boyfriend and his 7-​year-​old daughter in a timeframe where we would all be together, which worked out great. Everyone there is super friendly and knowledgeable and make you feel welcome!
I would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a new dentist to call home.

I was a patient of Dr. Lee for almost 5 years. I have to say he was one of the best dentists I have ever had. Honesty was much appreciated. I came to them after another dentist told me I had a cavity. (which I never felt) there was never a cavity.
We did replace two old fillings from Mercury to porcelain. Each time that I had a teeth cleaning I left with no complaints.
One thing I did notice was that there front desk was a lil loopy on forgetting things or double billing. This happened once, and my husband caught it. Front desk apologized for it. Calling the front desk as follow up procedure they once forgot.
Overall, great dentist and amazing hygienist.

Went there for a filling in 2014 — one of my very rare dentist visits. Handed over my insurance card to the receptionist who made some calls to my insurance company to get details. She then gave an estimate of costs and I paid accordingly during my visit.
I get a bill later for additional $ 200 (50% more than estimate) about my visit and the receptionist mentioned that I should have known about my insurance and that I was lying about not knowing how much my insurance covered! A couple of months later I receive calls from collection agents about the pending charges. Shouldn’t the dental office be held responsible for the estimates they give and only allow up to a certain delta in differences as long as no new treatment is given? Due to the incompetence of the receptionist I had go through a bad experience at this place.

My boyfriend and I were first clients at their Seattle office. When we moved to the Eastside, we decided that it was easier to start going to this clinic instead. The dentists are there in this office the first and third Saturdays of the month.
Dr. Lee is really nice and does a great job checking your teeth. He even noticed that I had some previous fillings that overshot my teeth and thus filed them down for me. Dr. Yeung is also a great dentist. The hygienists are good too (although sometimes the cleaning is a bit messy and it gets on my neck?) but my teeth feel clean afterwards.
Appointments go fast so call in advance!

Due to financial and time constraints, it had been a long time since I’d visited a dentist. Dr. Lee and the staff at Radiant Smiles were diligent, professional, and friendly. Despite my too long layover between dental visits, they were not condescending or judgmental toward me. My teeth looked and felt clean, and my mouth didn’t hurt afterward. Thank you, Radiant Smiles, for a job well done.

Having lived in cities around the U.S., I’ve been to a lot of dentists, and I love Radiant Smiles. The cleanings are not only incredibly thorough, I’m comfortable throughout the whole process. Plus, Dr. Yeung is patient and explains what she’s doing and what to expect, something I really appreciate when someone is poking and prodding inside my mouth.
I especially like Dr. Yeung’s approach with dental care. She told me ways to care for my teeth and preventative measures to avoid problems in the future — not just «floss and brush» but what I could do to accommodate my specific dental needs and why it’s important. She didn’t try to sell me on expensive procedures or cosmetic options, she was really frank about what was necessary and what was avoidable or unnecessary. As a patient they made me feel cared about as an individual, and I felt confident with Dr. Yeung’s expertise and intentions.
I still go to Seattle regularly, and try to make an appointment while I’m there! Thanks Radiant Smiles!

Several months ago I went to Radiant Smiles for my six-​month checkup. (Note that they were previously known as «Giggles and Grins».)
Dr. Lee is a fine dentist. I had a couple fillings done there soon after I first started seeing him, and it was a relatively painless procedure.
My only complaint is that once a while back, the dentist prescribed a dental rinse, and prescribed the same rinse for my wife. However, he did not tell us that it would stain our teeth. At my next cleaning, the hygenist interrogated me, asking if I had been drinking a lot of dark sodas, juices, etc, puzzled as to why my teeth had become so stained. Then I asked about the rinse, and she acknowledged that was definitely the cause.
And there’s still no bike rack, so I have to lock up against the fence amongst the blackberry bushes. :(
