Always great coffee and nice girls. I stop into Jaimi’s Red Hot Espresso daily for my iced mocha. They use good coffee beans and chocolate syrup.

Good coffee but I wish the girls were a bit classier about their clothes. Some of them have beautiful bodies but the way they dress really downplays that. But, they are friendly and make good drinks!

This place is on our way to work, and we used to really enjoy stopping there for quick, friendly service and good coffee at a reasonable price. Because it is a drive-thru, one expects to be served quickly so you can get back on the road. The baristas were always very friendly and professional… until they closed the business recently. We were ecstatic to find that a new owner had re-opened the business, and had looked forward to getting back to the routine of stopping there. The morning barista is an unpleasant girl who dresses in rather revealing clothing. Personally, I don’t care what she wears as long as the coffee is served well at a reasonable price. We went there soon after they re-opened, hoping for the same service. We were pleased to see that the speed was still there, enabling us to get to work on time. We were not, however, impressed with the fact that the 16 oz cup of coffee we paid for was only a little over half full. But hey, we’re always willing to give a second chance, so we went back a few days later. This time, the same girl was there, talking to a customer on the other window, laughing and having a great time while we waited. When she finally came to serve us, we noticed her clothing was even more revealing than last time and she wasn’t nearly as friendly. We ordered our usual and I mentioned that last time the cup wasn’t full, to which she responded«maybe you’d like to take your business down the road, I don’t have time for the attitude». I’m sure it’s a difficult business, and it must be hard to be friendly to complete strangers all the time. I know I wouldn’t want to have to do it. But I don’t think it’s asking too much to get what you’re paying for. I suppose we might try again at some point, but it’s unlikely, since she told me she had the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason. So be it. There are a lot of places that sell coffee and give you what you’re paying for.

I used to enjoy coming to this stand. The service was good, drinks were great and it was an all around good experience. Unfortunately that’s changed lately. Most of the staff that knew what they were doing is gone, and their replacements are mediocre at best. For one their personalities aren’t great but more importantly they have no idea what they’re doing. One day I showed up and ordered a cranberry muffin. The girl pointed to a picture of a cranberry scone that was crossed out and said they no longer carry those. Seriously, who doesn’t know the difference between a muffin and a scone? More recently I came by and ordered a soy chai latte. What I got was a cup of hot water and a tea bag. There’s no excuse for that, and the fact she was allowed to make drinks with no knowledge or training says a lot about the lack of management.

Really liked coming here, mostly because of it’s proximity to work. The barista was also really cool & sweet and the prices were good. One day, the window said closed for business. Sad face. A few weeks later, I saw it open again. Happy face? Not so fast. It changed. It has now become one of *those* stands. Great. I thought I could avoid those types of places on the east side, but my hopes were dashed. So if you like your coffee served by scantily clad girls just trying to squeeze the most tip(lol) from your hand — come here. I know I won’t be anymore.

Red Hot Espresso is on my stop every morning. Amazing good old fashioned coffee stand. I have never given a coffee back and the morning baristas are well trained. The quality is amazing and if you want a powerful drink I suggest a 24oz. white chocolate, white coffee mocha with carmel and whip. Make sure you get 4 shots or what’s the point? I have gone in the afternoon and it has been some different girls. They are not well trained or enthusiastic and I think is really what takes away me from giving the 5th star. The owner and morning girl(I don’t want to give names or can I?) are absolutely amazing, and very talented baristas. The rest not so much. If you want a good morning coffee and want to avoid the later staff I suggest going in Mon-Fri between 7am — 11am. She is fantastic!
