This Taco stand services the houghton community and people around! They are great with the booming community and serve the local schools!
Big servings, great flavors and fresh! They do big big burritos and tacos with great tender meat! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great taco truck in Kirkland!
I rented their taco truck to come and serve tacos and burritos on our campus for the Puget Sound Adventist Academy! They did a great job and the kids loved them!

This place is not that clean! I found hair in my food twice. The chicken they used tasted really old. I had to throw away my food!

I am from Southern California, and coming from having authentic Mexican cooking nearly every day, I was looking for something to satisfy my craving for tacos or a burrito. We’ve gone a few times. The first time, I was a little disappointed about the size of the tacos, but they were pretty good. Not what I was expecting, but satisfactory. The second time, I just ordered a burrito. It was ok, kind of lacking in flavor. The beans needed just a little salt probably. I read a previous review about not being offered a receipt. That also turned me off. I usually like to receive a receipt when I make a purchase using my card. The pricing seemed a bit off, maybe there is a charge for using the card? I’m not sure. The last time we went, we got tacos and again, just a little disappointed with the food. The chicken tortilla soup was not that great either. My mother-​in-​law who came to visit also was not impressed (she is from Mexico). Overall, I will likely go back, simply because there really aren’t any real Mexican food places around here, but I will definitely pay cash from now on and make sure to ask for a receipt.

The tacos are great and this is why I’ll miss this place.

Was there twice. Both times made the same order. Both times he didn’t give me receipt and didn’t even ask if I need it. This immediately raised my awareness.
I checked bank transactions and they were different. For the same order. Even if you take into account taxes — this number didn’t match.
I would suggest anybody who goes to this place to be cautious.

I am from California and have lived in Washington now for 4 years. One thing I missed about CA was the awesome tacos and burritos. I have literally tried ~100 places in Washington trying to find something equivalent and was always disappointed.
Then I found Tacos El Guero and it’s exactly what I was looking for. Very fresh tasting and packed with flavor. I recently had them cater an event for work, and they did an amazing job. Every single person commented on how good the food was. It was a absolute hit. Everyone wanted to know where they were located etc. Thank you Tacos El Guero… keep it up!

First review here on Unilocal.Actually was driven to write this review due to the POOR customer service and terrible food. I lived on San Diego for half my life and I KNOW what mexican food should taste like. The Carne Asada burrito was 90% rice and beans… for $ 10.00…really???
Don’t get me started on the attitude the girl taking the orders. Let’s just say I’ve had better service at McDonalds.
Save your money and time… this place sucks!
I would give this place a zero if I could.

Terrible value ($ 10 burrito really?) and just so-​so tasting mostly flavorless food. Very disappointed. If you want amazing and cheap burritos try the food truck near crossroads on NE 8^th and 156^th

Just had these tacos tonight because we were craving some authentic Mexican food. This was It! We all ordered Asada tacos with rice and beans.
The owner is super friendly and his prices are really fair.
His yellow truck is parked behind the Shell gas station, across the street from Starbucks.

Their burritos are very good! I enjoyed the vegetarian burrito and it was full of flavor. I had to save half of it for dinner, it was a large portion. Be patient during lunch hour though, they get busy!

Wonderful street tacos. Terrific spicy sauce. Love this little gem in a quiet neighborhood in Kirkland.

This place is a joke. The lady is rude and the food mediocre. A small step above Taco Bell. A much better taco truck is across from Juanita Village in the Shell parking lot, as well as the one across from Burger King off 124^th. Tried it twice and to see if maybe just a bad experience, and it was worse experience the 2^nd time.

For a little taco truck, the food is good. I had the taco and it was delicious! You can tell the ingredients are very fresh and the sauce was really good. Make sure to squeeze some lime on it because it really balances the flavors perfectly. Best tacos I ever had.

Great food and friendly people make for a five star review. Highly recommend the Tamales. They are delicious!

We shared tacos and a burrito at this roadside stand. There’s plenty of parking and tables to sit at if you like. It’s obvious that care goes into the preparation of this food and this establishment.
The tacos had a nice topping along with the meat that was both interesting and good. If you don’t like onions at all though it wouldn’t work for you. All in all the food was good but I enjoy a little more flavor.

Really high-​quality burritos and other dishes for super cheap. Large range of proteins and veggie-​friendly (tongue, anyone?)
Not overly salty like Chipotle (ew.)
Good location inside a parking lot. Friendly staff. Try the Horchata.

We had Tacos El Guero cater for a party of 20 – 25 people. It was great. They setup under a canopy in our driveway. Served guacamole, pico de gallo and poppers for appetizers. As good a guacamole that I have had it was a huge bowl and not much left by dinner! Soft Tacos, Burritos and Quesadillas f or dinner with beans and rice. Also amazing. Lupe and Alexandro were great. No reservation. We will use them again.
I also will be visiting their Truck (or trailer) in Houghton in Kirkland (across from Bartel Drugs.

I was craving tacos and was in the area so searched for a place nearby and this is what I found.
It’s a cute little taco truck with outdoor benches, which would probably be nice to sit and eat at, if it wasn’t winter.
Appeared to have a lot of options. I wanted to try the lengua taco, but they were out. Instead, I ordered a chorizo, chicken, beef and pork taco (so that’s four tacos ya’ll) and papas fritas (aka french fries). He didn’t acknowledge the Unilocal pop up offer of $ 1 tacos, I couldn’t really understand what he was saying, but it sort of sounded like he did not agree to having such a deal. Bummer, but tacos are 1.50 each, which isn’t so bad.
The chorizo taco was a little salty for my taste. The French fries were. fries, but hit the spot. The other tacos were equally delicious, I asked for them to be spicy, so I think he put some spicy something or other on them, which made them a little spicy, but not spicy enough. Also I love corn tortillas (random side note). Unfortunately the tacos only came with two teeny slices of lime, but I needed more. And unlike a lot of other Mexican restaurants and taco trucks, there was no salsa bar, a little bit disappointed by that.
But alas, I was craving tacos, and it hit the spot.

Driven by this place many times and decided to try their street tacos. After all, this IS essentially a «Taco Truck.» Street tacos are pretty simple. Meat, tortilla, onion, cilantro. No cheese, guac, sour cream, tomato, etc. I get that. I got a chicken, beef, and a pork. I was disappointed they were out of beef tongue. Pretty standard fare but the meat was overcooked, dry. I got the hot salsa which dominated so you could barely taste the meat. I couldn’t tell which meat I was eating but the last taco I had to pull gristle out of my mouth three times. (I think it was the pork?)
I definitely would come back though to try a couple other things on the menu before writing this place off but I’m pretty skeptical considering what should be their signature dish, street tacos, was pretty mediocre. Either the other items are much better than the tacos or the novelty of eating at a taco truck has inflated the ratings.
$ 6 for 3 tacos and a Diet Coke is oretty darn cheap but I was only half full (you get what you pay for.) I ended up going to Plume right after and trying their Vietnamese Sandwich. Roughly the same amount of food (8″) for a $ 1 more and much better flavor. But comparing Tacos to Sandwiches is comparing apples to oranges. I’ll be back. I’m hoping for a better experience.

I discovered this place after waiting for my husband during a job interview in Kirkland. We were visiting Seattle for his interview and haven’t tried any tacos.
It was very easy to find right off the street, however I did miss the parking and parked at the gas station next door. When I walked up there were already 2 people in line. The guy was very nice but it looks like he works alone. Wonder what happens when it’s really busy. I went about 2pm so I’m guessing lunch hour had died down if he did had help before. I order the carne asada mini taco and a coke. It was delish. All for only $ 4 something. I was very happy with my food. There are tables to sit at outside too.

When I lived in Austin, good tacos were everywhere… Seattle requires a bit more of a hunt. Tacos El Guero offers LEGIT street tacos in downtown Kirkland! Basically a food trailer that never moves right across from Metropolitan Market.
If you check in here on Unilocal,you get tacos for $ 1! Hard to beat that deal. I tried the chicken, chorizo, and the asada. Asada was hands down my favorite. Perfectly seasoned, great amount of meat… awesome salsa! Chorizo was tasty, but you know I’ve realized chorizo is just not my thing in general. Chicken was seasoned well, but not as tasty as the asada!
In addition to the very convenient location, you can txt in your order ahead of time. Great deal if you live close by. He offers the standard mexican drink options, but no horchata machine that I could see.
Parking is plenty (behind the trailer) and there is a nice bench to sit at if you want to dine there. This is a solid «quick» option in Kirkland. I hope he sticks around!!!
