The Whole Cat and Kaboodle

I haven’t stayed as guest here but before my human learnt how to bathe and trim me nails, I went for a bath and nail trim to the Whole Cat and Kaboodle. They were nice with me and I left smelling like heaven! (smelly cat no more!)
Will definitely come back!

Had a family emergency where I had to immediately board my 2 cats. Everyone was so accommodating on my being unsure as to when I would be coming back When I finally got back, the cats almost seemed reluctant to leave. They treated both Token and Wilson like the true princes they think they are.

Our cat Tex is a clingy giant ginger fur ball. He overheats in the summer & drives my allergic husband insane by shedding all over. For many years now, Nancy does an amazing job shaving him into an adorable lion cut. They also have great cat food & treats at reasonable price. So happy to have this shop in my neighborhood!

I brought my cat Gin here earlier today for a nail trim, bum trim, and brush out. She has never been to a groomer before, so I was a little worried, but it went so well! It was such a great experience, for Gin, but also for me. The staff were all very friendly and super helpful. I left with samples to try and get her on a better diet. It’s obvious that the staff truly care about cats, and they were so knowledgeable about nutrition and willing to help me find some good alternatives. I also love the little bow they put on her, so adorable! It didn’t last very long at home, but it was definitely a nice touch. I will definitely be back, and I’m going to tell all my friends with cats that they need to come here!

WOW! I am so happy with my experience at Whole Cat and Kaboodle! This place went far above and beyond my expectations! The cat that I brought in for a family member needed grooming badly, but wouldn’t let its former owner (R.I.P.), me, or anyone else near it long enough to remove more than a couple of hair mats at a time. We were worried about bringing in such a feisty little creature, but they were able to handle her with patience and love. You can tell that they genuinely care for cats here and are very knowledgeable — they gave some really great advice regarding the food/​diet recommendations for older cats. They also have cute gifts and cat necessities in the shop for purchase. The place seemed pretty busy when I was there so definitely expect that, but it’s well worth the wait! The miraculous part of this is that the angry, feisty little cat I brought in was giving the groomer headbutts and purring full-​force by the end of the grooming session!!! My jaw dropped… it was truly a miracle. Apparently the cat felt THAT much better after getting all of those troublesome mats removed. Thank you for giving this cat a fresh start and for being so kind and patient with both me and her! If I ever have the duty of family cat grooming dumped on me again I will definitely bring her back here!

I went into this shop the other night just to see what it was all about! I have four kitties at home and am always looking for good pet shops that sell all natural pet toys and food and just over all unique products! All I can say is this will be my new go to pet shop for my babies. They have everything from treats to toys to beds all products I have never seen before. The staff is amazingly helpful and make you feel like your just apart of the family. They also do grooming for your pets, boarding and therapy as well. Cannot press enough how amazing this place really is!

Took my skidish senior ladies for bathing and general spring sprucing up. They were very relaxed when we returned home. This has not been the case at other groomers.

So happy we found The Whole Cat… Will be coming back for sure. After a long and stressful drive with our scared cat, they handled her with such professionalism. Took about 5 minutes to get her out of her carrier, nails trimmed, back into the carrier, and to pay. Was the BEST experience!!! THANK YOU

Absolute best place to take your cat to get groomed. They really care about the cat here, not about making profit. I absolutely love this place and will return anytime I need my cat groomed. I refuse to go anywhere else!

After two of my favorite cat groomers moved out of the area and then having a terrible experience at Petco in Issaquah I went to Unilocal which led me here. The reviews are excellent for a reason. These groomers are amazing! My cat was so matted. I thought for sure they would need her all day. However, after only 40 minutes I got a call that she was ready. When I picked her up, she look so great and happy! Nancy also showed me a lesion she had in her mouth that I need to address. The location isn’t that close to me but given that it is in a strip mall with a grocer and Bartells, I can easily drop her off and run some errands. My cat also frequently has crystals in her urine and Nancy gave me some samples of food to try as my cat is very picky. This woman knows about cats! I also noticed the cats that were boarded there were able to walk around instead of being stuck in a cage all day. I will definitely consider this place if I need boarding in the future. Thanks Nancy, I will be back!!!

I came in with my husband today. I was excited to find a new place to buy some fun stuff for my kitties but as I walked in around three thirty I saw two girls in the back by the register talking and couldn’t be bothered to say hi to us. We looked around for about five minutes and there was no one else in the store and yet neither of them came over to see if we had questions or need help. I did have questions but guess it didn’t matter.
This review is only on the customer service. We didn’t but anything because we felt like we were out of place and not welcomed.
Needless to say, we won’t be back since we weren’t welcomed in the first place.

I came here with my cat (who is a bit of a hellion) to be groomed. Imagine my surprise when I got a call not long after dropping him off, to say that he was ready to be picked up… but that his lion cut was not completed! Apparently my cat had become so stressed that he had pooped while they were grooming him, so they stopped for the safety of the cat. I can certainly appreciate that and definitely felt they were looking out for my pet’s wellbeing. They gave me the option to leave him as-​is (about 75% shaven), be referred elsewhere, or come back in and sit with him while they finished the cut (for no extra charge). I came back in a few days later to finish the cut, and everything went great, especially considering he was a fussy client. It was slightly disturbing to watch how they manhandled him during the grooming, but I was able to keep him calm during the process. Their boarding fees are very reasonable, so I will consider them in the future for that. Also, when you are waiting, you can hang out in the kitty room where all the boarders stay!

This place is home base for crazy cat people. It was about 9:15 when I went in and there was woman in the «boarding room» singing to the cats as she was tending to them. I tapped on the glass and she invited me in to sit. She apologized for not hearing me right away and asked if I would like coffee or tea (who does that these days?) while I hung out. We chatted about the store (which is so adorable and stocked with everything cat) and the grooming services offered. As I headed out she invited me back anytime to visit the cats. I feel bad that I can’t remember her name exactly but I think it was Kerry or Terry. If you are a cat person, or need something for a cat person, or even just need a place to commune with other cat people, this is the place to go.

I brought my kitty, Abigail, here to get her nails trimmed, and the groomers here are PRO. They had her out of her cat carrier, nails neatly clipped, and back in her carrier in about 2 minutes. One groomer gently held Abigail by the scruff of the neck and sat her in her lap while the other trimmed her nails. Abigail didn’t fuss or anything. Considering how much yowling and crying she did on the way there and on the way home, I’m 99% sure the groomers are magic or something.
10/​10, will be back!

Nancy is very informed when it comes to taking care of your cat. I asked her what the best option was to feed my indoor cat Bella. She explained to me that dry cat food is not good for their digestive systems and recommend wet canned cat food. I made the switch and now my cat gets excited when she hears the can pop open.

I took my roommate’s cats here for their VERY FIRST grooming. They’re two big fluffy cats we thought we mane coons, but it turns out (thank you Cat and Kaboodle) that they’re Norwegian Forest cats! Who knew? The Whole Cat and Kaboodle did!
Anyhoo, so I dropped off two very distress kitties that clearly did not enjoy the drive over and picked up two lovelies who looked and felt fabulous! Sophia had had really terribly matting issues and she is a whole new cat now! She was walking around the store tail high, showing off for everyone. She’s become such a ham! Arthur did unfortunately slip into a slight deep depression once we got home and he realized half of his body had been shaved off, but it’s been three days now and he’s back to his good old mischievous self.
The staff at the Whole Cat and Kaboodle (isn’t that just fun to say?) were super helpful and they gave the kitties bows and canned food to take home (for free!). They gave me some great tips to give their mama. I could not have had a better experience! They’re not just fabulous kitty groomers they’re kitty lovers and that makes all the difference. I could just tell from picking up the kitties they had had a marvelous time!
I highly highly recommend them!

I was recommended by a good friend for my long haired kitty to get groomed that the Whole Cat and Kaboodle was the place. And I was blown away with the service a quality here! Nancy really knows how to handle cats, and you can tell really cares about her clients. Usually, my cat Sonya takes 3 vet techs to even get her nails trimmed, but there it was like nothing. The owner did such a good job getting her to relax, so she could be trimmed and shaved. Nancy was great about letting us stay and watch to make sure it went smoothly and we were in and out in less than 15 minutes.
I am so glad we found Whole Cat and Kaboodle, we definitely plan to use Nancy again, and I highly recommend her for anyone who has a long haired cat.

We were getting the floors in our house refinished and the cats couldn’t be there. The staff at Whole Cat and Kaboodle took excellent care of our 4 kitties for a week. The played with them, cuddled them and clipped their nails too! My cats had a great vacation and I would definitely take them back if the need arises.

My long haired cat got himself all tangled up and had numerous matts on his back. I searched for places to take him to get shaved and found the whole cat and kaboodle. Their website was straight forward, prices were reasonable, and they had great reviews so I scheduled a appointment online. A day or so before our appointment I received an email saying they were having problems with their online scheduling but they offered an appointment an hour later than we had previously.
The day of the appointment we had trouble finding their location but as they had moved the day before and their Unilocal was updated I didn’t fault them for it. The facility was clean and staff very friendly. We loved how their boarding room had automated string toys, furniture for the cats to lay on and even a tv with mice, birds etc. for them to watch. We were told to pick our cat up in an hour and that being his first time if things were too hard on him we’d receive a call to have us sit with him. One hour to the minute later we received a call that he was ready. Despite being very matted they had done an excellent lion cut. They even recommended we add wet food to his diet to improve his coat and encourage him to clean himself. About two weeks later our cat is happier, back to grooming himself, and his coat looks wonderful. I was so worried my cat would be traumatized but he came home happy as can be. I highly recommend this business. They did a fantastic job!

This is the BEST cat salon ever!!! I went to other places before but the first time I came here I decided I won’t go to anywhere else. Nancy and her staffs are the best, she shows how much she cares about cats and understands what my girl need, she remembers every details and gives me a lot of useful advises! I have a 3 years old Siamese-​Margaret, she has a long hair so I take her to Nancy for lion cut every few months and nail trim every month~~ Margaret really enjoyed the grooming never cry and looks so cute after it. We are moving to Jersey soon and afraid we can’t find such a awesome place like here for Margaret. I highly recommend Nancy, I’m sure this place is the best in town.
