As a firm that focuses on methods of alternative dispute resolution rather than contentious litigation, we are devoted to helping families reach amicable, out-of-court settlements in the most cost-effective manner possible.

Established in 2004.
In over 17 years of practicing family law in both Washington and California, AV® rated firm principal Virginia A. Leen has developed her own philosophy concerning divorce and its accompanying issues. Primarily, there should not be winners or losers in divorce cases. Rather, both parties generally benefit from reaching a mutually satisfactory result, with minimum cost and emotional trauma, particularly to any children involved. To achieve this goal, Ms. Leen emphasize cooperative problem-solving and rational evaluation of the issues at hand. She handle cases through a range of low-conflict options, including mediation, Collaborative Law and FasTrack Divorce®. She is a member of King County Collaborative Law and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals (IACP).

Business Owner
Virginia Leen attended the University of Washington and graduated in from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California, with a B.A. in Art History. She graduated from Loyola Law School in 1996. She has practiced family law for over 15 years, and is currently licensed in Washington and California.
Ms. Leen is a member of the Washington State Bar Association Family Law Section, King County Bar Association, the International Association of Collaborative Professionals (IACP) and King County Collaborative Law. She is a trained mediator and a certified collaborative law attorney, and has served as a volunteer judge for Seattle University’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Center competition, and currently serves as a volunteer attorney for the Eastside Legal Assistance Program (ELAP).
