Helen is my stylist at Winslow and I love her! After I got a brilliant idea to do my own highlights, Helen saved the day. She worked her magic and I was ready for a breakfast with the CNO of my company the next day. Amazing cuts and color!

Cheraea Roberts is amazing. I have changed salons many times because the stylists never listen. I have never had a problem with getting the exact color I want. She knows her methods and colors, she is also a caring individual that makes me look forward to my next appointment.
Try them out, the salon is inviting and up to date in every aspect. Cheraea is the best stylist anyone could ask for. I was lucky to find her and the Winslow Salon.

This is the cutest little salon in DT Kirkland! Very calming and chic interior. Cheraea is my stylist, I followed her from her previous salon. She is the best! I have been searching for years to find someone who can actually achieve the color I want in my hair, she does an amazing job each time! Also, bonus that they carry oribe products.

As a new resident of the area, I relied on previous Unilocal reviews to decide that I would check out Winslow Salon for a much-​needed haircut. After seeing the work of the artists there on previous reviews, I decided to bite the bullet and take my natural brown hair to an all-​over deep purple. Cheraea was exactly the gal for the job, and I couldn’t be happier!
She was totally upfront about every aspect of the process, from upkeep to what my hair may look like as the color fades. Most importantly, she was super focused on my hair the whole time, rather than making small talk or what others in the salon were doing. This was a huge plus for me — I could tell that she was ‘in the zone’ and knew my color would come out great as a result, and it did!
I’d highly recommend her to anyone looking to take care of their hair in the long run, and maybe experiment with a fun new look in the short term. I’ll be back to see her every six weeks and can’t wait to do so!

I was looking for a new salon closer to me and found Winslow Salon. I needed a full foil and cut and Cheraea could fit me in. Since this was my first time here, she took the time to go over exactly what i was looking for and when I said «golden blonde full foil» she made sure my version and her version of golden blonde was the same.
She seemed very knowledgeable and definitely knew what she was doing. She did an excellent job and I love my hair!
Not only was she great at her job she was super easy to talk to and seemed like such a nice person. My whole experience was wonderful and I will be making her my go-​to for the future.

Rachelle is amazing! I followed her from her last salon. She has been doing my hair for the last 7 years and she is always up for a change and the newest trend with my hair.
The salon itself is very welcoming and warm. Parking is super easy even on a busy day in Kirkland. I would recommend this salon and Rachelle to anyone

The salon is beautiful inside! I want to steal the chandeliers! They offer you coffee water or tea and their coffee is actually pretty good! Everything is super clean and there’s natural lighting so you can actually see what your hair looks like.
I started going to CHEREA at «the salon» In mill creek and then she moved to Winslow salon in Kirkland so I followed her. She does an amazing job! My hair is pretty much black and she has my ombré super blonde! I’ve already made my next appointment with her! She’s fun to talk to and is super professional!

I feel intimidated to post my review considering I wasn’t 100% satisfied (whereas the other reviews are), but I recently got a haircut from Jen. She is a fantastic person and I enjoyed getting my hair cut by her, but this review is solely about prices and how they don’t adjust to what you receive.
I didn’t receive anything special aside from a trim on my bangs and ends, which took about 45 minutes (Jen was late by ~15 minutes for my appointment) total. My hair looked great, I liked the product they used, but for that amount of work… I would not agree with $ 80 (not including my tip!). I didn’t get color, I didn’t get a completely different style, I didn’t request anything absurd. I have never paid a price that high for something as mundane as trimming.
Unfortunately, because of the high price for such little work, I won’t be coming back. There are other salons in the area that are much cheaper that produce just as good work.

My stylist is Cheraea, I’ve been with her for years and followed her to this salon because I can’t imagine anyone else touching my hair. She is extremely knowledgable about coloring and especially balayage. She always takes the time to listen to me and what I want/​need. I always leave feeling and looking amazing. I HIGHLY suggest seeing her, you won’t be sorry! :)

Based on all of the Unilocal reviews, I decided to go ahead and try out this salon and see April. I was definitely not disappointed. April is very knowledgeable, has a great sense of style and great at what she does. She was able to suggest a perfect haircut and the best color for me. I was so excited when I walked out of the salon! I am super happy and will refer anyone who is looking for an amazing experience! Cannot wait to come back! Thanks April!

Absolutely adore this salon… the décor is fantastic. I want to move in!!!
But, honestly, the best reason to go there is Kristin. She’s cut my hair for years and is absolutely the best. I always receive a stellar cut. Her prices are competitive and worth every penny.
Kristin recently joined the Winslow Salon after moving from Kathy Evans Beauty Studio. Winslow is just around the corner on Market Street and parking is much easier… another plus!

I have been seeing April for all my hair needs for 7 years. She has never let me down. She is incredibly professional and actually listens to what you want. Not to mention, she is very personable which makes for an excellent salon experience. Her vast skills allow her to do any hair cut you desire and any hair color you want. She also cares about the integrity of your hair, which is absolutely important for me. She has been able to take my black hair to a honey blonde and it looks FABULOUS. Go see April for all your hair needs!

Kristin has just recently joined the Winslow Salon. I have followed her now from 3 different salons as she has grown her business. This is a beautiful salon, professional and inviting. I would not trust my hair to any other person. She has always been able to maintain my hair and improve the condition, despite the season and course.
Prices are competitive and value is exceptional. She did hair for my wedding party and everyone complimented. I highly recommend Kristin for upkeep and special occasion.
Parking was easy, location was easy. Very pleased with her move and always with her stellar service!

I absolutely love April at Winslow. She does fantastic work (cuts, color, styling, everything) and she’s super nice & friendly. I’m extremely picky about my hair and after trying many salons in the area (Seven, Gene Juarez, Gem, etc) I won’t let anyone else near me!

I finally moved back to the area, but unfortunately most of my friends live down near the Tacoma area so I wasn’t able to ask for salon recommendations from anyone for up North. I looked all through the internet and checked out Unilocal to find a salon. I chose Winslow because this salon was the most highly rated and because for every bad comment, the owner would write back to the reviewer. This showed me that the owner cared about the clients and her salon!
Lee was my stylist and she was AMAZING. I came in with an idea and she gave me her opinions – I left very happy! I have naturally blonde hair and am somewhat picky about where I go and who does it. I will DEFINITELY be going back to Lee, she knows what she is doing.
PS…Lee gives the best scalp massages. Hands down.

Wow, it has been a long time since my hair has looked this good! Jenny is amazing; I could not be happier. After many subpar experiences at other salons, I was about to give up and just color my hair all over brown (back to my natural color.) Luckily, I didn’t give up searching and stumbled upon Jenny at Winslow. She turned my unnatural highlighted hair into the most beautiful multi-​tonal blonde. Better yet, she was able to blend my roots seamlessly. My search for a good hairstylist is now over. I really feel like I won the lottery.

Carrie has done wonderful color and cuts for my thick blonde hair. She is thorough and relatively quiet-​so if you want a chatty Kathy she may not be your gal.
Ashley the owner has done a great job with the place, per new renovations, the front desk staff is also very friendly. The products make my hair feel incredible and never greasy.
It’s worth the drive from any location, as Kirkland’s fun to visit if you want to make a day of it!

I just gave this salon and Jackie a try a couple days ago! I am always nervous to try out new people, but have no choice as going to my beloved previous hairdresser in Austin, TX just is not cost effective.
When the price tag was told to me over the phone, I was hesitant, but decided to give Jackie a try. This would be my experiment to see if $ 10-​$ 15 over the price I’m accustomed to paying (and even $ 20 over a stylist I tried in the area prior to finding this salon) was worth it.
It was.
My very high density, fine, cowlicked hair is perfect. It helped that she followed me to the front desk when I was going to pay and took one more look. She noticed a tiny piece of hair she wanted to fix, so beckoned me back to her chair. That sort of perfectionism is very, very much appreciated in somebody who is creating a huge part of your image! And I’ve never received more compliments on my hair as I have in the past 2 days! Even better? Somehow her scissor magic left it so I can pretty much blow dry my hair and head out. It lays perfectly without flat ironing it to death.
I think I may stop in to tweak the bangs that she cut in as an experiment. And she made me very comfortable in that she was more than willing to help me get them just right.
So glad I finally found what I’ve been searching for for nearly 2 years!

Hi everyone.
I tried this place a couple of month ago. I’m new to the area and after trying a lot of other places I’m SO glad I found this salon.
I have a short, fine hair that is really difficult to style. I went to see Jackie Lewis. I highly recommend her. She is so attentive. She did a fantastic job. When I came out of the salon people on the street made me complement. I felt on top of the world.

I recently moved to Kirkland and needed to find a closer salon to my home. After reading other reviews on Unilocal,I called to make an appointment at Winslow for a cut a color. I previously had long hair and went to Gene Juarez and had a bad stylist chop it all off.
My experience with Winslow was great, starting with my first call. The receptionist listened to me, was SO nice and friendly and recommended that I see Emilienne. And she was fantastic. The cut and color was just right. While she can’t grow my hair back, she gave me a great cut that I can more than live with while I grow it back out. I will be booking again with Emilienne and I am excited to say I have a new salon much closer to my house.
