Established in 1988.

The Renovators (of Kirksville MO) — A Home Building and Remodeling Company — was established in 1988 by Bob (Robert) Benge committed to excellent quality, reasonable prices, timely completion, professional ethics and guaranteed satisfaction.

We have the time, skills and know how for all those remodelling jobs that you have been planning!

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Bob has been in the construction field for 25 years, since the establishment of The Renovators. Bob is a licensed general contractor. Bob has lived and worked in Kirksville Missouri for the past 18 years. Prior to this Bob was a manager at Caterpillar for 20 years.

Bob was born and raised in Davenport Iowa. He is married to Jody and has four children and eight grandchildren. His passion for construction and renovating extends to a keen interest in new trends in construction techniques, cutting edge renovations, and innovations in tools and supplies. This interest is nurtured through active research, including a love of HGTV and the shows of Mike Holmes.

Bob is also a keen antique collector and in partnership with his wife Jody, they own and run Brown Bear Antiques in Kirkville Missouri.
