I initially found this store to be cute and kind of efficient; especially once I found out that I could resell my lo’s gently used and unworn newborn items. However, as an avid consignment store connoisseur, I was disappointed to receive a $ 10 buy back offer for 2 two piece outfits (one of witch was never worn), 1 three piece (never worn), a brand new bathing suit, 1 gently used pair of baby girl pumas, 3 onesies, 1 ruffled tank, 1 belted pair of summer shorts and a poplin skirt.
Now… This $ 10 wager may potentially seem like competitive bidding for all of these items, but unless you have actually been a patron of this store and if you are anything like myself, you were surprised to see the locations price tags for second hand infant jeans marked at $ 3.50 or $ 4.50, considering that there are many other choices for thrift stores in the area that sell baby jeans for at least half that price.
Ultimately I feel that for the items I had and the price point of this thrifty children’s store, my buy back offer could have been a little more generous… (Technically I was offered less than $ 1 for each garment.)
But it was not generous and as a result I completely left this establishment unwilling to buy or sell anything here ever again.
I would also like to add that I have never felt the need to write a review before so clearly I feel cheated…
