Oregon Motel 8 and RV Park

The people that work here are wonderful! I hit a rock and blew a tire at midnight; 50m from the entrance of the motel. It’s hard to find a place in Klamath Falls at midnight. I was so blessed that the young man that works there answered the door bell at midnight. He was very nice and cordial, even though I woke him up at such an hour.
The room cost me $ 55 with no reservation. (Pretty fair for the area.) The young man that checked me in even made sure I had a room in front of my poor disabled Corvette; so I could see the car. The room itself was clean and basic. It had a tv/​cable, wifi, refrigerator, and microwave. Oh, don’t make my mistake and turn the freezer up too high. It works very well! (I ended up freezing most of my food on accident.) The bed had plenty of pillows and was firm. The only downside is that the motel is right next to the highway. So there is a bit of highway noise during the night. Luckily, I keep earplugs with me when I travel. (Just a tip.)
The next morning I checked out at 11 and waited for the tow to arrive. The cleaning lady came by and reminded me (very politely) that check-​out was at 11. I told her I was awaiting the tow so she worked the other rooms while I occupied mine until the tow arrive. The manager also came by to check on me. He was very understanding about my situation and let me have the room an extra hour.
Overall, it was a great, and very lucky, experience at this motel!

Overpriced and run down. We were parked in the dirt next to a fence with no shade or picnic table. We did have 50 amps. Will only stay there again if there is nowhere else available.

Pool still not open even tho brand new sign states heated pool. I’m willing to take the place for what it is: an overnight stop w/​hookups BUT it’s AAA and Good Sam rated. We couldn’t beleive it. We stayed at Walmart on the way up and had a WAY better experience! Save your $ 39 (if you don’t need the utilities) and go to Walmart.

Rather depressing RV
space between RVs, pool not open (hasn’t been all year!). Only upside is full hook ups and pull through. Will not be stopping again…

The pros: wifi works great!!! All of us were on it at the same time and streaming video. This is a campground rarity. The bathrooms were clean for the most part. Our neighbors were all quiet. Brittany at the front desk was very nice. We only stayed one night. The cons: No frills as far as scenery (weedy). A little overpriced ($ 45 for 4 people). Some highway noise and a train horn.

Overpriced weeds and dust. Outdated rec room. Pool not usable. Lots of potential here, but way out dated and run down. Over priced for only having 15 or 30 amp available. Employee in office is rude and hard to understand as barely speaks English. Check out at 11am enforced even though there was only 1 other rv in the park. The park is north of town about 15 min and not close to any stores. Would not recommend anyone to stay here. You would be better off at the Walmart in town.
