Klamath River Rv Park

Beautiful park and view. Great location. We’ve stayed here three times so far. We’re RPI members. This place tacks on lots of extra costs. WIFI gets better each year, but it’s still bad. Will continue to visit this park. Can accommodate large units, but your close to your neighbors. You can overlook this by taking in the views.

This place has a lot to offer. The sites are clean, big and the view is nothing short of amazing. Friendly service is always a plus and this RV park is very quiet. Access to the freeway is easy with a variety if stores and fueling stations close by. Nice fire pits to enjoy in the evening with the sound of a river right next to you. The Wifi is spotty at best so don’t count on being connected to the internet during your stay. I would RV here again!

The park is beautiful with awesome views and great little trails to walk your dogs. But the washing machines and dryers don’t work. and they are two dollars a load for each. That’s right 4 dollars to wash and dry each load. Which would be ok but the washer didn’t spin the water out if my clothes and I ran out of quarters after paying 4 $ to dry. So my clothes were damp. And the owner is not friendly at all. Not welcoming and doesn’t make you feel like he wants you there.

This place is AWESOME! We camped in the tent camping area with a group of 12 people. We took up the space in 3 tent sites and had plenty of room between us all. The park is very clean, the bathrooms and showers were the cleanest that I have ever used at a campground!
The tent sites are a bit of a walk to the restrooms but not too far. I liked that the tent sites were separated from the «RV» sites, the sites are right near the river.
The camp host was very friendly and really nice. We had a fairly rowdy group and the first night we were there, there was a complaint about our loud music (BUT it was only 7pm!) The camp host came to our site and kindly asked us to turn it down and we complied, and the last night we were there we were also told to keep it down but this time it was shortly after 10pm (which is after quiet hours) and again the camp host was friendly and cool about it.
Reserving the sites were easy and all my emails and questions regarding what was allowed and wasn’t allowed in the tent area were answered promptly.
Also, there is a little store on sight that you can get souvenirs at and also common camping type items, including 20# bags of ice for only $ 4.75, which is cheaper than the store! They also have half gallon containers of ice cream, in case you get a craving!
Overall this place is a great place to stay and I look forward to staying here again.

If you are traveling without pets or children and are looking for a relaxing River view with no privacy then this is the park for you. The grassy sites right on the river are nice but they come at a huge price. You can literally share coffee with your neighbor from your kitchen windows as once slides are out you are no more than four to five feet from your neighbor and conversations can be heard very easily. Make sure to read the rules before committing. I’m giving it two stars because the park is in a great setting but the owner prevents it from being very user friendly. I questioned the previous negative review based on all of the other positive reviews but after spending time here I see that if a family with young children and pets are planning a fun camping trip you may run into issues as this park and park rules are clearly set up to be for the older generation of campers. Passport america described a dock and fish cleaning station. I didn’t see any of this but was too afraid to explore with pets in tow.

This place a heaven! We booked our week vacation here after looking at their website. The views looks spectacular and the campsite looked clean. So, while we were driving up the coast, we saw a ten of shameful looking RV parks and we kept hoping that ours wouldn’t look like that!
Wow! Just like the pictures on their website! Our campsite is right on the water. Easy check in, a gracious camp host and a very clean park greeted us immediately! I am not one to just sit and do nothing, but this trip I can! Well, if fishing in my front yard, watching seals play in the river, routing on the battles between the Bald Eagles and the Ospreys or watching a beaver build his den is nothing! Just beautiful nature all around!
I can’t wait to book my next trip here! I haven’t left yet, and I already know I miss it!

The con… baaaad management And service. Owner was very bipolar and family unfriendly. Kicked us out and our four friends with our families for no understandable reason. He ran over my husbands foot with his golf kart and called his tribal cop friends on us. Unfortunately it was the worst camping experience we’ve had in 15 years. Probably should state no families with kids if that’s what he wants.

We will absolutly be back next time we’re up this way!
We camp in a self-​contained camper van, no hookups. We call it the tin tent, and all we really need is a place to park for the night, but obviously prefer campgrounds for the safety & knowledge that we’re legal. We had been searching for a campground but all the state park ones, even with their astronomical fees, were full. It was getting later and later. We were exhausted to the point we just couldn’t drive anymore. Woese, the entire van was disheveld due to standing on the brakes to avoid hitting a deer! There’s no National Forest up there (where «camping at large» is legal if you follow a few simple rules). We spotted a sign for the RV park, but it was around 10PM, and figured the office was closed so we would stick a note to the door explaining why we’d parked there and pay in the morning. Well, the office was closed, but the campground host was still out & about. We explained that we needed no hookups and simply needed to park for the night. His welcoming demeanor nearly brought us to tears. He said «I’ve got a real treat for you» and even walked us down to a gorgeous spot for ‘tents’ right on the river! He even warned us we’d want a camera ready at sunrise! A MAJOR added bonus over most campgrounds if you’re a ‘tent’ is that we were camped on grass. This means we didn’t bring in more dirt every time we got into the car. Clean showers included, there’s laundry facilities, and even morning coffee! All for a LOT less than the state parks charge for a dusty, noisy site with grungy pay showers! THANK YOU!

This place is awesome! We’ve our been here several times and the service and facilities always meet our expectations.
This is a beautiful, quiet, park on the Klamath River and a few miles from the Pacific Ocean. If you are looking for a pool and wild parties, this is not your place. The scenery and ambience is ideal for the nature lover. There is a boat launch and during the fall salmon run dock space is available. We have seen a bear swim across the river while seated in our motorhome enjoying our morning coffee. Wild geese and a pelican have stopped for a rest on our roof. The air is fresh, clean, and invigorating.
The facilities are clean and well kept. RV parks with grass spaces are few and this is certainly appreciated here. There are community fire pits, a club house and a play area for children. Pets are welcome. It also has several tent sites, with some right near the river.
The owners and staff are friendly and extremely accommodating and helpful. I’m off to enjoy a glass of wine and the beautiful sunset. See you on the Klamath River.

Good location and convenient to all the local tourist sites. Staff was friendly and courteous. .. Although it’s primarily for rv campers, this place has sites for tent camping as well. Facilities were cleaned and maintained well. I would recommend this place to all who want a place to tent camp. However, I don’t recommend paying the $ 2.00 for wi-​fi access, it doesn’t work very well in the tent sites.

This was a pleasant find. The park is quiet and secluded, right next to the river. Grassy parking areas and play areas. It has most of the amenities you will need!
