Above Grade Level provides an internationally proven in-​home tutoring and academic enrichment program based on over 25 years of experience in assisting students with mathematics, English, and many other subjects. We work with a wide variety of students including those who want to maintain good grades, need challenging enrichment programs, or are experiencing difficulties at school. By helping these students excel as learners, Above Grade Level ensures that they gain the confidence and skills needed to succeed at home, at school, and in their future careers.

History

Established in 2012.

Above Grade Level provides an internationally proven in-​home tutoring and academic enrichment program based on over 25 years of experience in assisting students with mathematics, English and many other subjects. We work with a wide variety of students, including those who want to maintain good grades, need challenging enrichment programs or are experiencing difficulties at school. Helping these students excel as learners, Above Grade Level ensures that they gain the confidence and skills needed to succeed at home, at school and in their future careers.

Above Grade Level, Raleigh North East is directed by Steve and Lillian Ferrarini who have an ardent desire to see children and young adults thrive in their educational endeavors. Opening an Above Grade Level tutoring service for the Raleigh, Wake County, and surrounding areas, in September of 2012, is their attempt to fulfill that desire. They are available to help with any educational gaps you or your children encounter.

Meet the Business Owner

Steve F.

Business Owner

Above Grade Level, Raleigh North East is directed by Steve and Lillian Ferrarini. They have been active in the Raleigh/​Knightdale community for twenty years. Steve is recently retired from a long career at IBM. Lillian can still be found workingat EastRegionalLibrary. They successfully raised two children, participating in Toastmasters, Raleigh Amateur Radio Society, emergency communications through the local REACT team, and their local church where Lillian enjoys teaching children about God.

Steve enjoys being a «ham» amateur radio operator, photography, aviation, and can be found every year selling tickets and flee market tables at the annual Raleigh Hamfest (RARSFest). Lillian is a voracious reader, participating in leadership at the localToastmasters club (East Awake Toastmasters), and both spend happy time doting on their two grandsons.
