All About Alterations

I was a little hesitant to go to a small local shoppe to get my wedding dress altered. I’d read other good reviews so I thought I’d give it a shot. Let me day I couldn’t be happier! My dress turned out amazing and now fits me perfectly! The owner is super sweet and you can tell she takes pride in her work. As I tried on my dress she walked around to make sure everything was perfect. If you’re looking for alterations you can’t beat this place in quality or price!

My mom had not had a good experience in the past with another alterations business so I got on Unilocal and found Helen at All About Alterations. Helen has a lovely shop, decorated with obvious care, and filled with beautiful items, both vintage and handmade by Helen herself.
My mom is petite and has trouble finding pants short enough for her so we took in a pair of pants to be hemmed. She did a beautiful job, done and delivered on-​time as promised, and with a smile and kind-​hearted personality.
We have since taken in a second pair of pants which were also completed beautifully and professionally.
Helen does all the work herself and has no shortage of work! It’s a shame she hasn’t received more reviews on Unilocal because she obviously has loads of experience and talent!
I highly recommend going to see Helen… you can trust she will do excellent work at a very fair rate.
She’s located at a very convenient spot off Kingston Pike at Lovell Rd, opposite end of Gold’s Gym.

All About Alterations receives an A+ from me. Helen is upbeat and helpful. Prices are reasonable and alterations are made in a timely manner. I recommend this business to those of you who want quality and reliability.

This place is so great and they are always so nice to their customers. I’ve had to have them do rush alterations on 5 pairs of pants and also for a gown and both times they were understanding and did not charge extra. In addition, she does a great job and I am very particular when it comes to tailoring. I drive from Townsend to go here because I know I can rely on them to do a great job. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

Had a pair of ladies dress pants altered here and she did a great job! Her prices are at or below her competitors and she is very nice and out going. Even during prom season, which is when I had my pant alterations done there, it was less than a week with no rush charge! I looked into other places on Kingston Pike but her store has the right combination of location and prices — as you get closer to Farragut prices go up (obviously).
