Koolioz has a great location in Hardin Valley with little competition. The self serve model of add your own toppings is nice and there a quite a few of these type ice cream shops around town.
They have different options for frozen yogurt. I have the salted carmel If I remember correctly. They have premium toppings to choose from and everything is charged by weight. I would personally prefer ice cream but this is a great option if your looking for something sweet.

I have really mixed feelings about this place. It has a nice atmosphere and the ice cream is good. However I got a cone bowl and it was stale. I was then charged my debit card $ 76 for two ice creams! The total was $ 12 (which is expensive for two medium bowls that didn’t weight a whole lot) the cashier was very apologetic and called the manager for help. I was told the $ 12 would also be refunded for our trouble as we had to hang around waiting for it to be sorted out. The money didn’t reappear in my account for days, which led to me having to borrow money, and when it did reappear it was the $ 76 charge, the $ 12 charge never got refunded so in the end not only did I pay full price but I was late to where I had to be next and was out of pocket for days. Not really worth it for a little cup of ice cream in a stale cone.
