We say «no, thank you» to over 1,000 items a day, and «yes» to an average of 200! Pick something up to accessorize what you already have, or, at these prices, you can start from scratch. We’ll even trade you yours for ours, or give you cash on the spot.

When I moved to Knoxville in 1994, I looked for a store like Planet Xchange. Unable to, I decided to open a buy, sell & trade clothing store of my own. Money was tight, but I was on a mission. In 1996, the first Planet Xchange was opened on the (now über hip) 100 block of Gay Street. The 300 square foot space was the start of what is now a 6,200 square foot storefront in West Knoxville on Kingston Pike, just 2 blocks from West Town Mall. At any given time, you can walk into Planet Xchange and find shoppers from just about any age, gender & nationality.

We have worked hard to build a reputation of being extra picky about what we put into our store (upper tier mall brands, some designer brands & whatever’s current & trending), while paying a fair price for it (usually about ¹⁄₃ — ½ of what we would price it at). We pay cash on the spot, or give you the option of trade. Over 200 new items are put out daily, so what are you waiting for? Open 7 days a week.
