History

Established in 1979.

I’m John Rutherford and after graduating from UT in Broadcasting Management I began working for Pro-​Audio Mobile DJs along with various local radio stations. I now own Pro-​Audio Mobile DJs and have put together a staff of DJs with years and years of experience playing for wedding receptions, class reunions, school functions, and dances. All of Pro-​Audio DJs have been with the company over 15 years and have radio, nighclub, and private event experience!

Not only have I been with Pro-​Audio since the mid-​1980s, I have worked at four radio stations during this time and still do commercial production work. Pro-​Audio has provided entertainment for over 20 years at the Holiday Inn Cedar Bluff three nights a week, we have played for Church St United Methodist Church’s monthly dances for over 14 years, and have been on the beautiful Volunteer Princess over 8 years doing wedding receptions and parties. You can find me at one of these regular locations DJing every week of the year.
