Individualized instruction for a student is always better than group learning especially for a struggling learner or a student who is just «on the bubble» and needs a shot in the arm to master skills. Distractions in the classroom are absent while learning in a one-​on-​one learning environment, which allows me to provide the best teaching method for each student.

I value each student’s background knowledge and learning style, so I can tailor the learning experience to fit each student. Parents can learn a great deal from my private tutoring sessions and apply the same techniques used with homework. It makes a difference when parents work with the private tutor and classroom teacher to apply different strategies to help the learner blossom.

History

Established in 2013.

After 17 years of public school teaching, my focused shifted to the private tutoring sector. Classroom distractions and behavior problems are on the rise, coupled with teachers over worked, many students are academically left behind. One-​on-​One academic teaching and learning is powerful.

My patient hands-​on learning activities provide a relationship building opportunity between me and the student. I value each student’s background knowledge and learning style, so I can tailor the learning experience to fit each student. Business Owner

She is a National Board for Professional Teaching Standards certified teacher, Texas certified teacher, parent and community volunteer dedicated to the academic and social growth of every child. She holds a Master of Education degree in Elementary Mathematics and a Bachelor Degree with a reading specialization from Texas State University, San Marcos, TX.

During her 17 years of teaching, she has impacted a diverse population of parents and students in the Austin, Texas area. She provides the best instructional accommodations, interventions and modifications that address various learning needs in general education. The successful multi-​sensory, hands-​on-​learning she implements supports a sound learning experience.

The Learn Master Tutoring can help find effective skills for remembering, understanding and maximizing your child’s learning ability. Her extensive 17 years of teaching expertise coupled with her parenting experience provides a wealth of knowledge.
