Located in Kyle, TX, we are the first Vape Shop in the Kyle/​Buda area. Locally owned and operated, we strive to offer individuals an alternative to tobacco, and have less relapses because they otherwise have to drive for miles or order online to get their refills and equipment.

All or most shops will say that they offer e-​liquids that use certified ingredients, but we can say that our e-​liquids, not just the ingredients, are FDA certified. This is because the makers we use take product safety and quality seriously, and they are ahead of, and setting the standards for, FDA regulations, not just responding to regulations as they are made. We hope you can say the same about whom ever is making your e-​liquids at the counter.

Having just opened our doors in Sept. 2014, we will be doing a lot of growing and expanding to meet our customers needs and interests. All you have to do is let us know what those needs and interests are.

History

Established in 2014.

The concept of Vaper Basics began in February 2104 when I grew sick and tired of having to drive to San Marcos or Austin for my vaping supplies. Even when I worked in Austin, the trip to my shop of choice extended my drive time by 20 minutes, or more if there was any kind of traffic. We desperately needed a dedicated vape shop here in the Kyle/​Buda area, but I struggled with getting a lease for several months. I decided to go ahead and launch an online store and I ordered a minimal amount of inventory that I could use to jump start a physical location when it became available. The last week of August I found a space to lease. I chose the smallest space because I was not 100% certain of how many in the community used electronic cigarettes, and again, because of the uncertainty, I chose not to spend a lot of money trying to remodel into a typical retail outlet. I instead moved my online home office into this location and added some necessary furniture. And, that is how Vaper Basics began

I live here in Kyle, and wished for years that there was a closer place to get my vaping supplies. The opportunity arose for me to open and shop, and the rest is living history. Growing and expanding constantly, I hope we can accommodate the basic needs of all levels of vapers.
