Suggestion for the owners: you should print the press date on your bottles. $ 8 for a bottle of juice that is pressed elsewhere… I’d like to know it was really pressed today!

Cons: they don’t let you sample a juice before you buy it and sometimes they run out of the one you want.
Pros: I had one of the best green juices ever here! Greens 3. It was a little sweet, but that’s not a bad thing for a lot of people who want to try green juice for the first time. If you prefer your juice less sweet, just hope they have Greens 4 or 5 in stock.

I stopped by to refuel from an intensive workout and I found this amazing spot of goodness and freshness.
It’s an unsophisticated looking place and I loved the interior with their simple menu. I got me some greens #2 and an energy green shot and finished it before I even started leaving the area. Price is reasonable. Friendly young ladies.
Worth trying.

I have been to a few of these locations. I enjoy them, consistent, and fresh. After a hike, there is no better substitute.

This is not my favorite juicery. Fair or not, I judge my juiceries by their nut milks and there is essentially only one at Orchard Flats. It’s a Vanilla Almond that’s used in multiple ways. There’s the original, one with protein powder (the «Pro»), and with some coffee for a latte. They all pretty much taste exactly the same. Unfortunately, I’m not a fan of the taste. It’s incredibly sweet from the dates and there’s a strong vanilla flavor that reminded me of swigging vanilla extract. If it wasn’t for the fact that they were $ 8 – 9 each, I wouldn’t have finished them.
As for the rest, I tried a variety of their green juices, groundworks juices (root veggies), and fruit juices. Of those, the Orchard 1 made up of honeydew, pineapple, pear, apple, and orange was far and away the best tasting and truly delicious. Groundworks 2 and 3 were really sweet and palatable. Healthy Greens 1 and 5 were good introduction green juices.
Overall, I thought the menu was limited and the severe lack of good tasting nut milks is a no go for me.

Cold pressed organic juices in a bottle. Their healthy stuff does not taste pleasant but what healthy stuff does! A bit pricey but worth it.

I bought these four juices to try and they are all yummy! Pricy but it sure beats having to buy the stuff, get out the juicer, juice and waste water cleaning. Plus there recipes are so good!

I bought the Vanilla Almond Milk, the Orchard 2 and the Healthy Greens 1. My total came out to $ 40 for five bottles (16 fluid ounces/​each) of juice. At $ 8 per bottle it seems really expensive. but then again I think you get what you pay for because the product is cold pressed and unpasteurized and raw. Besides all that they taste really great. I believe the guy that help me out was named Chris. He was very helpful and told me that the orchard flats juices are all pressed in Burbank and then distributed to all their locations. I like to support a local business and so I will continue to support these guys because I think they put out a great product.

Loved it!!! Walked in the «enchanted forest of pasadena» as another Unilocaler put it, lol! I was exhausted and thirsty… Saw this place after leaving gelsons. and it was amazing!

Just finished a hike with my girlfriend at the enchanted forest in Pasadena and we were beyond dehydrated, so we looked up the nearest juice spot and found this place. The guy up front was chill and very nice. He recommended us drinks and glad he did. We were so satisfied and got an instant boost of energy. Definitely going back there for sure.

After trying out some other juice places, I keep coming back to this one. The juice quality is just great.
One word of advise though: if you want to add cayenne to a drink, do it yourself or make sure that the person doing it has a way of controlling the flow. Last time, the guy at the counter accidentally dropped way too much in.

BEWARE PREGNANT WOMEN — Love the drinks BUT the lack of employee product education is a REAL problem.
if you are pregnant — stay away. I went in there knowing that the green juices were definitely out of the question as Im newly pregnant and have been advised to not drink those drinks. SO but I asked if the the vanilla almond drink was okay and the guy said, «actually that is the only drink you could drink» because it doesn’t have the live bacteria, cultures, etc. in it. So I bought it and drank it down with a smile.
Well. I thought… hmmm maybe I should call the other store just to see if the answer is consistent. (Of course a few minutes too late…) So I call the burbank location and they end up saying that the almond drink is unpasteurized and is used on the same equipment as the green juices even though they do clean the equipment, however it still has plenty of risk. And that its up to me.

So I might lose this child because of some employee acting like he knew the ins and outs of this topic. You are better off saying — I actually can’t promise you that it’s safe and you might want to avoid it and speak with your dr first — or something to that effect.
Im NOT amused. And no – I didn’t see the CLEAR label in the front with the TINY CURSIVE writing that is hard to read, where the drink states it’s un-​pastuerized. Shame on me – but I didn’t even look because I relied on the knowledge of the person who sells the product who sounded solid especially after confirming that the only drink I can drink is the vanilla almond.
Now i have to be nervous through Thanksgiving. Im so pissed.

Excellent Juice Stop. You can certainly taste the quality. They have a great variety of flavors and you can sample them ALL! Watermelon & Mint mix is so refreshing. I have tried the other Detox and Orchard flavors on their menu and they all are fantastic.

If you’re ever around La Canada and you’re in the mood for some good beverages, check this place out. But be aware that it is price-​y. However, they serve cold pressed juices that are so fresh that you can taste each ingredient in each sip, so I’d say it’s worth the price. They offer samples and I recommend try each one before making a decision.
People that are used to commercial juice places like Jamba Juice or Juice it Up might not appreciate the organic flavors at first. I would say that this place is like a hip coffee shop for juices. Chris was very friendly and easy to talk to. I wish I spent more time looking around and learning more about cold press technology. I will come back to this place for sure. It’s just so interesting to see the different combinations of ingredients they put into each juice. My philosophy with any beverage is that if you can really taste all the ingredients, you’ll reap the benefits from each one.

I have since gone back and found that they no longer use organic produce, although they still have the word «organic» on their awning.
There are other places in town now with similar prices that actually are organic. So I won’t be going here anymore.
I hope they return to using organic produce in the near future, and I will give them my business again!

I’ve done 3 different juice cleanses from 3 different places. In terms of taste and quality, I would say that Orchard Flats tops the list. Definitely fresher here and I like how they advocate having your juices freshly pressed on a daily basis if you’re doing a cleanse. Those other juice companies that try to get away with bottling up their juices and leaving it on the shelf to expire after 2 weeks are phonies! How can you call yourself a juice cleanse when all the good enzymes are dead in your juices before you even get around to drinking them?
In terms of price, I can’t say much here. I feel like it was a fair value, but it’s because I bought a Gilt City deal.

yes you may say it’s pricey, but compared to the other cold pressed juices, you get organic here. their juices are $ 8/​bottle, but i do taste the difference between Orchard and Pressed (at $ 6.50 non-​organic). Orchard’s greens are definitely more serious if you ask me. less on the sugars and more on nutrition and nutrients. my go-​to at Pressed is their Greens 1 because it gives me the most in terms of greens and energy of all their juices. imho, i’d say that my faves at Orchard, Greens 1, 3 and 4, each equally deliver more greens and fortifying nutrients than Pressed’s Greens 1. i can taste it in the flavor being stronger, and in terms of energy, a half bottle gets me a vibrant, non-​jittery boost for my early a.m.‘s. i don’t need all those apple juice fillers for sweetness, just give me green! being organic is a huge plus as well, so the extra $ 1.50 you spend at Orchard is definitely well worth it. there happens to be another local juicer that refers to themselves as «never conventional,» but that doesn’t really make sense. if they’re not organic, they are indeed conventional. they also happen to sell juices that cost more than $ 8, and even have a $ 20 bottle. go figure. Orchard, you win.
use the Belly to earn points your visits! parking is abundant and free, both on the street and behind the building. love that they have a location closer than Burbank now… Pasadena would be nicer, but this makes me happy enough.

Excellent juices. I was wondering what the different in cold pressed was. You can taste it. They have a great variety of flavors and you can sample them ALL!
The green tea and lemon coconut water are so refreshing. The vanilla almond milk combo. To die for.

Orchard Flats Cold Pressed organic juices are delicious, but $ 8 for a 16 oz. bottle is a little steep.

I know I read recent reviews from Katie B. who purchased them for $ 7.00 a bottle not too long ago from their Burbank store. Do they think people shopping in La Canada are rich or something? I’m a non-​working mom on a budget and $ 8.00 a bottle is a bit exhorbitant considering I can buy lunch for that.

I picked up the following juices today and here is a description:
Healthy Greens #4 — Contains, spinach, mustard greens, kale, apple, cilantro and cayenne pepper. This was delicious and it had a nice little kick.
Groundworks #1 — Contains beets, yams, carrot, bell pepper, beet greens, celery & ginger. This is smooth and delicious with a nice little ginger kick.
Recommendation: I’m on the fence unless I win the lottery or something. I am shopping for a good juicer, but I may pop in and pick up something in the meantime.
