Welcome to Growing Trees Mandarin Chinese Learning Center La Crescenta! We are conveniently located near La Canada, Montrose, Glendale, Burbank, Los Angeles, and other surrounding areas. We offer a unique combination of in-​person classes, Mandarin readers, and interactive online reinforcement. We can also send our experienced teachers to your location! Our mission is to provide you or your child with a fun, interactive and effecient environment where learning happens organically. We cater to age groups 18months-​Adults.

No matter the age the student and the purpose of learning mandarin, as long as you are a dedicated learner and want your money and time spent REALLY worthwhile, we have the RIGHT teacher for you.

Home reinforcement is very important for language learners. We understand for non-​heritage speaker families, it’s not easy to practice Mandarin at home. We provide free online resources for the members to practice what they learned at home. We also provide free Mandarin readers and story books for our members!

After seven-​year of teaching Mandarin to different age groups in the USA, our program director developed the curriculum and various teaching methodologies for different age groups which assure you the most learning outcome.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

The owner holds a bachelor’s degree in Chinese Language and Literature from Beijing Normal University, a Master’s degree in Bilingual education from Loyola Marymount University, and a California teaching credential. She has been teaching Mandarin for over seven years both for elementary and high school levels. She loves teaching the language, and believes learning language at an early age is very beneficial to kids from all sides.
