History

Established in 1932.

Family owned and operated, opened by Barner Jones in 1932 was the local retailer for Blackridge, Virginia including all general merchandise from clothing, hardware, gas and grocery items. In 1973 J. B Jones incorporated and built the current facility. Today the business has evolved with the markets and offers a wide array of groceries, baked items and many seasonal favorites still offering fuel for boats and vehicles.

Business Owner

Born and raised in Blackridge Virginia, Eric is the son of the founder Barner Jones. For over 60 years Eric has served the public tirelessly offering great customer service and innovation for the grocery business. His family, wife Robin is the originator of the Bakery concept for J. B Jones Co and now his daughter, Jessica works with all aspects of the business to carry on the family tradition.
