History

Established in 1999.

Benjamin Eye Care Center & Optical Shop is a full service eye care center that has been providing medical and surgical eye care to this area since 1999. We provide care for the entire family… adults, teens, children, and seniors.

We are excited to welcome Dr. Kamran Riaz to our practice. Dr. Riaz attended medical school at the University of Illinois at Chicago, completed his internship at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Chicago and finished his ophthalmology residency at Northwestern University. Dr. Riaz completed a Cornea, External Disease and Refractive Surgery fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Riaz practices comprehensive ophthalmology with a subspecialty interest in cataract surgery; medical and surgical treatment of corneal disease such as dry eye, pterygium and corneal transplant surgery; and refractive surgery for patients who wish to decrease their need for glasses. In addition to English, Dr. Riaz speaks Spanish, Arabic, Hindi and Urdu.
