John’s Auto Body of La Grange

This was by far the best experience I’ve had with a body shop. I took my conversion van to have a door fixed, and they had it done quickly. The customer service and honesty is second to none and they went above and beyond. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing repairs.

John’s has done work for us three times over the years. We have been exceedingly pleased with the repairs. Eddie and the staff have been terrific. We really appreciate their honesty and professionalism. Their price quotes have been fair and made practical sense.

Lady reversed into my car outside a parking garage. Accidents happen. My car was somewhat driveable. Went to Continental Toyota’s collision repair center and they told me that the first repair opening was 8 weeks away. On my way home, stopped at John’s Auto Body and met with Eddie, who told me that they were busy too but was willing to prioritize my repair. Eddie’s answer to most my questions were «whatever is best for you.» Great customer service. In order to minimize my cars time away from home,
Eddie called when the parts arrived and promised a one week turnaround. 5 days later, my car was ready. Eddie even handled the paperwork with the insurance company when the original adjustment appeared incomplete. I will add that the insurance company for the at-​fault driver tried to steer me away from John’s Auto Body, stating that they are «known for being slow.» TOTALLY FALSE. This is a tactic used by insurance companies that want you to use their «preferred providers» to save them money — which may not benefit yourself.
Last note — I had some tree sap on 2 windows that I’ve been trying to remove for over a year. Nothing worked. Well… Guess what? I picked up my car and the sap was gone! JAB went above and beyond the call of duty. Fender benders happen to everyone and, when they do, I highly recommend calling Eddie at John’s…

These are the absolute nicest guys in the business.
They helped my mother a few months back, who referred me to them when my car was damaged.
I called and they immediately took my information, and told me when I got there not to even get out of the car. They are so accommodating, and even stopped traffic so I could navigate around parked cars and out into the street.
They worked quickly to fix my car and did an excellent job. They even cleaned my car which was no easy task with a messy toddler.
The best part, is that they actually dropped the car off for me at a relatives house while I was out of town.

Ten years ago I was new to the community and needed some body work done on my car. A neighbor who had lived in the community all his life recommended John’s Auto Body Shop. I was thrilled with their work and their service. Recently, I had occasion to use them again. I had been rear-​ended on the Eisenhower and needed the bumper and trailer hitch checked. They handled all the details with my insurance company, found damage the insurance adjuster missed, did the repairs, and even cleaned my car inside and out so that it sparkled when I picked it up! The owners and service manager are extremely thoughtful and accommodating. Their helpfulness, experience, expertise, and excellent reputation in the community make them tops on my list!
