We are a multifaceted service company. We provide: General construction, kitchen, bathroom remodels. Door, window installations. Remove walls or install new walls. Plumbing, electrical, drywall, stucco, tile or wood flooring, & framing.

We pride our selves on providing fast dependable and quality workmanship. We have our own staff that comes to your home and perform the repairs or remodels. We respect your home, so when we work we provide an isolated work area, protect your flooring and when we leave we will leave it clean and free of any obstructions. We like doing small, medium or large scale remodels or repairs. We will be honest with you, if we cannot do the project we will let you know upfront. However if we can we will do it to the best of our ability and be competitive on the price.

Established in 2006.

We understand that remodeling or repairs in your home is something you need to have a professional do for you, and picking the correct one, is not easy and at best it’s a crap shoot. You need to feel that the professional you choose is some one you can trust and rely on. Well this is why we excel on customer service. We know how to communicate, be on time, deliver what we say and complete it on schedule, and best of all doing all this in a respectful way. Taking care of your home is why you called us.

Business Owner

Robert has many years in the home repair industry. He started with flooring, gaining more experience, entered the natural stone and tile maintenance and repair, then as his clients requested him for more help with showers. Robert began to remodel showers, and tile installations. From there it was natural to enter the service and repair of residence.

Robert enjoys the beach, camping and being with family. Loves the out doors and would some day love to live in a forest area. Robert loves to sight seen and spend time traveling, specially at night when it is cool. He loves sports. Pro football, hockey and sailing. Loves to bike ride along the beach.

Likes to hear classic rock and oldies music.

We re-​engaged ACR for some miscellaneous repairs and Steve went above and beyond with service. It does not matter if you’re spending thousands for a complete remodel or a handy man to do list job, ACR will take care of you! Every representative cares; ACR does not take short cuts!

I live in Portland, OR, but own a condo in Orange County. I researched a few local contractors for a kitchen and bathroom remodel and decided on ACR. Robert was extremely communicative, sent me very detailed before/​after pictures, and worked within my budget. I had to trust him to pick counters, flooring, sinks and faucets, and he exceeded my expectations.
The current tenant in the condo is extremely pleased with his work, and from what I hear, is also very pleased with the level of professionalism. The upstairs neighbor was also pleased with the results, and never complained of noise.
I would definitely work with Robert again, and would recommend him.

I am a professional commercial interior designer & recognize the quality of work that was delivered by ACR. Robert, the owner, is professional, courteous, accommodating & experienced. He estimated the job to remodel our master bathroom & kitchen counters & sink cabinet. As a renter, he took into account the likes & dislikes I had for our existing kitchen & master bathroom & provided what he could within our condo owners’ budget constraints. We are very happy with what we got… especially the white quartz counters I’ve been wanting!
ACR has a great group of people working for them. Steve, the foreman, is professional, courteous, kind, accommodating & experienced. He kept us abreast of the days/​times he would be working in our condo and informed us daily of the project schedule & project status even without asking.
We are pleased about the work they delivered & excited to have a fresh kitchen and master bathroom we can enjoy!

It’s always nice to have one less thing to worry about.
They say it takes 5% of your problems to make 100% of your headaches. This is what our Homeowners Association was to us just at the wrong time for our family.
Then came ACR to rescue. Robert flew by and gave a quote, then Lickity split Steve was out getting to work, repairing woodwork that was beyond me and I can be a handy guy at times.
Thanks guys at ACR. I wouldn’t hesitate to call again.
And I was just beginning to think good, professional, Handymen were a lost breed.

Just used ACR again to replace a water heater for us. Robert only uses American Made W/​heaters, not the Chinese made ones. I wouldn’t have thought of it. Got some things up to code. Replaced all the flex-​line, which is always a good thing to do.
They were quick and had it up and running in just over an hour. Didn’t leave a trace behind that they were ever here. Except for that new big beautiful water heater. Gonna sneak a bath if the water cops don’t barge in.

I found ACR and Robert based on Unilocal reviews and I had a very positive experience with him in May-​June. He scheduled a date and came out promptly to inspect and offer quotes on multiple small projects I needed done. His prices were very reasonable compared to some quotes I received from competitors in the OC area. Once I agreed to the terms he was able to coordinate his crew to begin demo-​ing a small bathroom (floor and shower tiles) and install some plumbing practically the very next day. All of the crew I interacted with during the process were very courteous and pleasant. And in a stark contrast to other contractors I have used his crew is very active in protecting floors and corners and cabinets anywhere near the work area. Moving forward for any future projects I have — whether they be remodeling or unforeseen repairs — I will think of Robert and ACR first.

Robert and his crew were prompt and courteous and did very good work. We needed our kids’ bathroom remodeled, and they took all of our concerns to heart and delivered a very nice product that will hold up to our kids. It took only one week, and they did not dirty up the house. They did not insist on using their own «suppliers» for materials. They were happy to use the materials we had already purchased or picked out. We are so happy with the work they did that we are going to have them bid on our master bathroom remodel.

AC&R just completed remodeling of a bathroom for me Work was completed in 2 weeks The work was seamless meaning that the various workers that is carpenters, electricians, plumbers followed each other quickly There was no time wasted Robert Salas coordinated everything He did an excellent job All workers were very professional & kept the area very clean I will use them again & highly recommend them

Bob came to my house to assess the nature of the work needing to get done. He said he’d have a quote for me in a day or two. Over a week later, I emailed him inquiring about the quote I had yet to receive. He apologised and said it would be another 5 – 6 days. Two weeks later, I contacted him, again, wondering what happened. No response.
Bob is a nice guy. I have no issues with him, other than the fact that he wasted a significant amount of my time.

Poor craftsmanship and excellence of service is the way I would describe the experience. When someone claims to be a Project Manager that oversees every aspect of the project, you do not get left with the poor quality that was left in my home. Robert was more concerned with swiping my Visa than ensuring I was satisfied as a customer. I will let the photos tell the story of the self acclaimed «best of the best!»

I contacted ACR last Monday based on their Unilocal reviews and because of their proximity to a new house in Brea where I was trying to coordinate a small project. I wanted to convert an open den into an additional bedroom by framing/​adding an interior door and framing/​adding another door for a small closet. Robert was able to coordinate an estimate on Tuesday, where he took plenty of measurements and promised to follow up with a bid. After three days, I followed up on Friday by contacting both his cell and office numbers, leaving both a voicemail and a text message. No followup all day on Friday, over the weekend, or on Monday. Prospective customers deserve the courtesy of follow through of promises and follow up of messages, neither of which I experienced.

We hired Robert and his crew to do what we thought would be a minor repair in our bathroom but ended up being a complete overhaul of the shower. His estimate was fair, he responded quickly whenever I would text or call, and he was very kind and easy to work with. In addition to Robert, every one of his workers was extremely polite as well as trustworthy. There were many days that they had to be in our home while we were at work so naturally there was some concern about leaving our house alone but it was never a problem. Because the repair came as a surprise we didn’t have the funds right away and Robert was very generous in waiting for his final payment. That is something for which we will always be grateful. During the work on the shower my husband also hired Robert to do an outside repair on some lattice. It was an easy job but required tools my husband didn’t have. The very next day I came home from work and it had already been done to perfection! After about two weeks, the work was done and our new shower came out beautifully! We couldn’t be more happy with the end result. It’s absolutely perfect!
I highly recommend ACR for any home repairs! We’ll be using Robert and his team for any construction needs from here on out!

I looked at Unilocal and choose A.C. & R. because of their high reviews. I called and talked to Robert and he was here within 4 hrs. that same day. They following day Steve the plumber, came and repiped my laundry room. He was so nice and did a great job. The next day a different Steve and Mark came to install the dry wall. Fantastic again. This team is top-​notch. I recommend them and will call them again.

My husband and I had called several handyman’s/plumbers to fix our wallmount vanity in the bathroom. Within 45 minutes of us calling Robert, he was at our house to give us a quote. His quote was cheaper compared to the other quotes that we received. One of the plumbers who came before Robert told us that the vanity we had could never be wallmounted and that we would basically have to buy a new one since it was «impossible to essemble». However, Robert and his team proved this wrong. The day after Robert gave us a quote, one of his team members was at our place to essemble the vanity. They did a great job — very thorough and clean. I highly recommend Robert and his team. Thank you guys for finally giving us a functioning vanity in our bathroom!

Two bathroom remodel:
I called Robert from A.C.R after reading the reviews on Unilocal and he immediately called me back. I was helping my parents out with their 1960’s outdated bathroom remodel. I told him that we would like to do and he came over the next day! He was very prompt and very personable (almost like a family friend). He measured and wrote down all of our needs and questions and we received a quote in 2 days!
The price was exactly in our budget so we signed with A.C.R immediately. We didn’t even get other quotes! All of the workers were very polite and courteous. They cleaned up every evening and gave an update to my parents on what they did and when they were coming back.
As they were working on the smaller bathroom, they located a small leak that could have potentially been a big problem. They fixed it and even replaced some of the pipes that were damaged and old. The larger bathroom was finished in 2 weeks! We couldn’t believe that they did everything that fast. Everything came out beautiful and without any problems. We even asked them to paint and install the fixtures!
My parents bathrooms look like a model home now!
We will be using them again for some additional work. I would highly recommend Robert and his crew!
Here is what we did:
Smaller Bathroom: Demo existing shower, counter top, install new Shower enclosure, install marble counter top, demo existing tile and install new tile floor, pipe replacement, leak fix, paint, install fixtures, new toilet install.
Larger Bathroom: Demo and install new Tub, demo and install new shower tile, new shower fixtures/​valves, demo existing vinyl and install new floor tile, demo and install new marble counter top, new toilet install, paint, install fixtures, door jamb replacement.
P. S. the only thing I would change would be to not do the shower enclosure. It would have been the same price and faster if we would have just tiled the darn thing!

Another great service from Robert and his crew at ACR. This time, my glass shower door shattered and needed to be replaced. After initially calling Robert, we discussed via email the available options and costs involved. I selected the most cost efficient option and ordered the new doors from Lowes.
Just a few days later, Robert’s crew picked up and installed the new doors quickly and with minimal household disruption. They even cleaned up all the tiny pieces of glass in the tub and all over the bathroom, leaving not a trace behind. I’m very happy with their work and will continue to highly recommend ACR.

I didn’t get to use him, but he was good in answering back calls and going out to check a problem. I was hoping he could detect and fix a leak inside the wall, do remediation, and restore the wall after… without me having to coordinate several companies to do it. I guess he got busy afterwards but it took awhile to get the estimate, and the written estimate was quite higher than the range we talked about over the phone. He also got other jobs so pushed back the dates he could work on our problem. Maybe that’s part of a strategy. In the end, I couldn’t wait that long, and I felt more comfortable in hiring plumbers to detect the leak and fix plumbing issues. Hired another guy to clean up and dry out the wall. Putting the wall back got done by a handyman.
By the way, you probably want to disregard the reviews with 0 – 3 friends and only a few reviews. They’re probably fake.
