Matt’s my new mechanic! I brought my Honda to him for a check up and he quickly recommended what needed to be done, quoted me a very fair price and had me on my way. I’ll definitely be back.

Ok hands down we all know that it’s hard to trust some of the shops out there when it comes to car repair. That is NOT case with Matt and Precision H&A. Matt is super trustworthy and will not let you down. They are very knowledgable and will go above and beyond to make the customer happy and work with you until you are satisfied. I have no complaints, they do some great work on my cars. Top notch service using quality parts… Thanks guys.

I have been going to Precision H & A for more then 15+ years and having Matt service not only my (3) Toyota Camry’s (over the years), my daughters Camry and my sister’s Toyota Venza.
I now live in Arizona and still will have my cars serviced by Matt when I come in to town to see family. I’ve been in Arizona for more than 2 years and still have not found an honest mechanic.
Matt and Tom are top notch!!! Matt will let you know what you need to take care of now and what you need to take care of maybe months later. He is always concerned with trying to keep the customers cost down and still give you the best service.
I won’t take my car to anyone else.

My car was dead, would not crank or start. Most mechanics would try take advantage of someone in this position. Matt did just the opposite, he was super helpful and even offered a few suggestions that i could try on y own before having it towed to him. Reasonable prices, helpful and friendly and he even went the extra mile and repaired a few loose ends on the engine mounting that the last mechanic missed… for free! highly recommended!

I’ve taken my Honda Odyssey twice to Matt at Precision and am so grateful I found him. He is honest, professional and knowledgeable. Both times he has only done the necessary repairs to my car and he always charges a fair price. I will only be taking my car to Precision from now on.

In 2006 I had a friend recommend that I take my Honda Accord to Matt at Precision H&A, as he had been so pleased with Matt as a person and as a Honda mechanic. I took my Accord to Matt the next 4 years that I owned it, always grateful for Matt’s knowledge, helpfulness, and pricing. It seemed that anytime my Honda needed attention, Matt could predict what was going on, what it would need, and a likely paced-​out repair plan for the future. Uncanny, he always seemed to know what to expect. We were particularly grateful for his ability to let us know what could wait 3 months or 5000 miles, and how to prioritize issues. I can’t think of anyone better to entrust a Honda Accord to!
We have also taken 2 Nissans to Matt and he has cared for them very well, even though they are not «Honda» or «Acura».
In the past couple of years, when I go by in the afternoons, Matt is usually not available. I haven’t found the customer service to be the same when he is not there.
My understanding is: If you want Matt, go in the morning.

Good and honest shop. I would definely be back with my two other cars. This shop was recommended by a friend and I nonesty is hard to find.
Here you get honest recommendaton for the safety and protection of the car without the hefty price tag.

The review given by Linda R. just goes to show you how inaccurate you can be regarding a stand up mechanic like Matt. Matt has never, in my experience, ever been underhanded or shady. He is always upfront even asking if you would prefer him to use aftermarket parts as a less expensive alternative. He does not perform additional work to your car without an authorization from the customer. I’ve a been customer of Matt for at least 8yrs. without a bad experience and I would strongly recomend him to anyone with a Toyota or Honda vehicle. By the way Matt has been working on cars since he was 16 years old.

If you need your Honda working like new then take it to Matt and he will fix it for you. Thank you Matt and Staff for making my Honda running for me.

Just took my 2008 Lexus RX350 in today, because my brakes were squeaking. Went to one Lexus service center and they quoted me over $ 600 to have the brakes repaired and the rotors resurfaced. I don’t know how they could see that by just using a flashlight to check out the brakes. Went to see Matt and he hoisted my car up on the lift, took off the tires to do a visual inspection. Got my brakes fixed for less than $ 400. He even checked all the fluids, put air in my tires for no extra charge. I’m going to start bringing my Lexus here from now on.

Matt has been honest since the day I first took my ’97 Civic, and eventually other Hondas, to him. One time the dealer recommended several hundred dollars in maintenance and repair, but I took it to Matt for a second opinion and he only did what was truly necessary and I was out the door for less than a couple hundred bucks. Go to him, you won’t be disappointed.

I’ve gone to Matt for years and have rec’d nothing but the finest service and honest treatment. Judging by the stellar reviews across the board, I’m confident in referring Matt to anyone.
That being said, sounds like Linda R wasn’t listening when Matt advised her what it would take to pass the smog test … «sour grapes» I’m sure … defintely not the type of service Matt gives to all his customers.

This shop, and its owner Matt, are by far the best of the best when it comes to Auto Care. I first went to Matt with a 2000 Accord when it had 110,000 miles on it and the Dealer quoted me repairs upwards of $ 2,000. Matt took care of everything for less than half.
Since then, he maintained that Accord to well past 250,000 miles. And not once has he upsold me on unnecessary repairs. That’s the dealer way… not Matt’s way. As he’ll tell you, an oil change every 3,000 miles and transmission flush every 15,000 does the trick. I can attest to that, as when he first took in that car, there was no way it would have gone another 150,000 miles.
I now have an Acura TL-​S and I wouldn’t put it in anyone else’s hands. A trustworthy and honest mechanic is invaluable. So invaluable that for as long as Matt has his doors open, I won’t be buying anything but Honda/​Acura.
I’ve sent friends, family and friends of friends to his shop, and every one has come back thanking me.
Don’t thank me. Thank Matt.

UPDATE: since my mom was so happy with Matt I took my car to him. He did the original repairs for the agreed upon price, but then we asked to have it smog checked. When we went to pick the car up he’d added FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS to the tab for performing repairs necessary to pass smog. When I complained about this Matt got really snotty and insisted he’d gotten a verbal ok to do the additional work. Not true. I to this day don’t know what cost the 400 bucks, but since the car in question is over ten years old, I would have thought twice about putting too much money into it. The original tab was about $ 700.
This guy is not a cheat and is not a bad mechanic; he just doesn’t seem to be a very good businessman. There’s no denying his prices are better than a dealer’s, but is that saying much?
To top it off he told me of a problem with the car I was going to need to take care of soon, and quoted me a price that was a couple hundred dollars more than my own mechanic in Glendale quoted me for the same work.

The a/​c recently went out in my Honda CR-V…in the middle of the heat wave. The dealer gave me a quote that sent me to Unilocal,looking for an independent Honda repair shop. Precision H & A caught my attention with its good reviews. The price was about half of the dealers price. I had the work done and now I’m cool as a cucumber. Matt seems to be an upright and honest kind of guy. Today I started my car and it sounded funny. I went to the carwash and when I started it up again it hesitated, sounding funny again. I went straight to Matt and he said it needed a new battery. He installed it promptly and I was on my way. I will definitely be taking my Honda to Matt for servicing now. I am so very happy to recommend Precision Honda and Accura. He said he could service my husband’s Toyota too so guess where we will be taking his car, lol?! Matt gets 5 stars until proven otherwise. If you have a Honda, go see Matt. He’s a solid mechanic and he knows his stuff around cars. He shared with me that he’s been working on Hondas since he was 15 years old. He has a love for these cars, and very good instincts when it comes to problems.
I wish I’d met him a year ago. I chased a problem in my 06 Honda Element with countless hours and thousands of dollars. I went to dealers, I went to other mechanics. Matt’s first instinct was exactly the problem. He looked at my service history and saw that the valve adjustment my honda needed had already been done. Turns out my other mechanic did a shoddy job. Matt was always very fair with the diagnostics he did, and I never felt like he was taking any kind of advantage, or more importantly, didn’t know what he was doing. If I’d just gone to Matt in the first place, I’d have saved myself a lot of time and stress. It’s like my car is brand new again!
Above all H&A has a level of integrity that I expect of any good mechanic. He’s the kind of mechanic that when you find, you’re going to hold onto him. It’s like finding a great doctor or lawyer. I’m confident that my Element will run for another 100,000 miles under his care.

Matt’s always been straight up, honest and on the ball with me. That’s why I go back. He’s awesome.

I’ve been a customer of Matt’s since he took over the business several years ago. He is by far the best mechanic you will ever find. He is honest, fair and an all around great guy. There have been times that we have just stopped in out of concern about a noise we’ve heard and he will drop what he is doing to take a look at our car. Matt, the owner, Is a one man operation. When you go to the garage, it is immaculately clean. Everything is in order and organized, no grease everywhere or parts and tools lying around. He is 100% certified with certificates on the wall for all Honda products.
I’ve had times when something has happen to my 92′ Honda accord, and with out notice I was able to take my car in that morning and have it that same day.
The respect he has for his customers is un-​matched compared to any other mechanic I have dealt with. He is a great guy and his work is reflected on his personality.
He truly works for his customers.
Now, im not entirely sure about price wise. It seems more steep than other places. but again the quality of work + the 100% genuine honda parts that are going into your car is a large consideration.
All Hondas/​Acuras are welcome, he stays current with new technology and newer models.
