Vinny’s Italian Restaurant

Not only is it fantastic working at the restaurant, but the food is AMAZING… IM NOT JUST SAYING THAT BECAUSE I WORK THERE. I have never had Italian food like toga before. O and the cannolis are the bomb!

Vinny’s is great!!! Love the pizza & sandwiches! I guess I have to try the rest of their menu.
Went to Vinny’s with a couple of friends and ordered a large pepperoni. I guess they had a problem with the dough making big bubbles in the middle, so our waiter asked if they could make us a couple of smaller pizzas, it was great! I had my own pizza to go and we ate one there. And they only charged us for one large!
I just wish they were open on Monday, too.

Terrible customer service by the middle aged guy at the front. I literally stayed front of the cash register for more than 5 minutes without getting any help at all or to be seated. Then a skinny middle age guy with white hair finally came up with very high toned voice and with rude manners. I polity mentioned that I’ve been here for coupe of minutes without being noticed and he replied back with an aggression: can’t you see how busy we are!!! I’ve heard good things about this place but my experience was not that great at all. Never stepping my foot again in this place no matter what. Thanks to their terrible customer service.

Yaaaaas! This place is delish! We got the small garden salad– and for some reason it was really good even though the curb appeal left things to be desired. Then to the pizza– we got a ½ pineapple and jalepeno and ½ mushroom and onion. Sauce was robust but not over the top, cheese was melty and tasted high quality, and the veggies were fresh and piled super high. The ranch here (yes older are those people) is incredible. I would totally chow down here again. Well done, Vinny, well done.

Best food and service nice to go where people care. Owner came by table to make sure everything was ok. Excellent pizza, salad, and pasta. I have gone ⁴⁄₆ times in last couple months. Recommend to all I know.

I read the reviews and have been wanting to try this place. I love the fact that it is family owned and the food was delish. The owner greeted us and was very pleasant. The server was a bit inexperience and a bit overwhelmed, but it wasn’t a bad service. I tried the seafood linguine and the season was just right. Next time, I’ll try clam linguine w white wine sauce.

I saw great reviews so I had to try and they didnt lie! It was amazing, especially the pizza. We had the margarita, but others looked pretty good too. The price is decent-​everything around $ 11 – 16, but considering the pasta comes with two sides, it’s a pretty good deal!
The reason Im writing this review though is because one of the servers here is deaf. I was so touched by this. She tries really hard to help the customers and does her best-​you can tell. Most places will not hire someone with such a disability, but it looks like she has been working here for a while now.
Great food.

Best cannoli ever! I went to Las Vegas and tried Buddy’s cannoli from Cake Boss and I have to say Vinny’s was 20 times better and cheaper.

Their salad is good. Service is ok. Their pasta sauce is too sweet! Never quite tasted any Italian sauce like it’s been simmering in sugar. Their garlic bread is good. I don’t dare order the pizza… once you’ve experienced Petrillos Pizza in San Gabriel, you’ll never settle for less.

I have returned 4 more times now and it’s obvious staff and service has improved. Food is great! soup and Salad was excellent and pizza wow! Nice job on bringing the game up!! c
I was very upset tonight though because I was overcharged for my sandwiches and the excuse they gave was that it’s the register fault and she said to speak with the manager and that he wasn’t here. No refund I’m done

My family has been enjoying Vinny’s food for many years now and have had many pleasant experiences with yesterday being one of them.
Decided to through a last minute baby shower for my sister-​in-​law and as expected the service and food were phenomenal!
They are definitely the best in town!

Our absolute favorite spot for Italian! Everything is so good, but my fav is their variety of awesome soups and the chicken parm with creamy marina spaghetti! Staff is super nice and it has a cute charm to it. Could use more booths since everyone seems to stick to the sides to get a booth. Overall so glad you’re here in La Habra!

Had the Monster Meat Pizza and it was delicious.
Made with fresh ingredients. The staff was friendly and the service a good.
Will come back for sure.

Vinny’s has been on my bookmark list for quite a while, finally came to give this place a try since we were around the neighborhood.
we went during kind of off hours, it was not crowded. service was great and the atmosphere of the place is very cute/​homey.
we ordered the chicken parm hot sub and the linguine with clams.
the food was fresh made with good flavors.
I particularly like my linguine pasta!!!
the complementary garlic bread was one of the best around the neighborhood
for sure.
overall, this is definitely the place worth a visit if you are around the area.

The service is lacking a bit, but maybe its because we picked up our pizza 30min before closing and they were tired. Who knows, I’ll be back on my next cheat meal!

Homemade marinara! Meatball the size of your fist loaded with flavor!!! The people are amazing and helpful! Love it!

Dined here several times already and consider myself a regular diner. Service is friendly and attentive.
— Lasagna is one the best I have had.
— Pizzas are good and very generous with toppings.
— Their lunch special, 2 sausage, garlic bread and a soda for $ 6.75 is a great deal.

This was some of the worst Italian food I’ve ever had. The service was extremely poor. I was served a soft drink once, then had to wait until I was already finished with my food before I ever saw my server again. Only when she was ready to give me the check did she offer to refill my glass. The pasta was cold and the tomato sauce lacked flavor, even though there was bell pepper and sausage in this dish.
I will never return to this restaurant again. The food was sub standard, the service was sub par. My server was busy with a table of 20 customers and totally neglected me during my dinner. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, unless you are satisfied with poor service and terrible food!

We’ve been on the look out for an Italian restaurant that had both delicious pizza and Italian food… WE FOUND IT!
We ordered lasagna, baked gnocchi, spaghetti with 1 sausage and 1 meatball (they let us do that!), pizza, and a tiramisu! It was sooo good! The food was fresh and homemade. You could taste the love with each bite! Even the ice tea was fresh!
Each entrée come with a large piece of garlic bread and your choice of soup or salad. The soups are homemade and the garden salad was bright and fresh. Their ranch dressing was also very good.
The staff was super friendly and I liked that the waitresses worked together. They even offered to wrap up our food to go! This was a very nice touch! I love when restaurants do that. I hate having to put my food into those containers when the table is full… it’s like playing musical plates.
The restaurant is great for small or large gatherings! On our way out we met Vinny! Couldn’t ask for a nicer guy. from talking to him you can tell he really appreciates his customers and loves his business. It was so nice that he took time to talk to us!
We can’t wait to come back and try something else! Vinny’s is our new and only Italian restaurant!

I came to Vinny’s on the recommendation of a friend and was not disappointed. I showed our waitress my Unilocal check in and she quickly brought us a side of garlic bread.
My friend also said I should get the LINGUINI WITH CLAMS IN WHITE WINE SAUCE. It was delicious! The sauce was very flavorful and tasty. It came with the most clams I’ve ever had in my pasta. There was NO sand, which can completely ruin the dish.
My pasta came with another piece of garlic bread. It was pretty good, nice and cheesy. It also came with soup or salad. I chose the CLAM CHOWDER. It was alright.
My companion ordered the large ANTIPASTO SALAD. When I say large, I mean LARGE. I think it was almost twice the size of my pasta. I ate his leftovers for an evening snack and the rest for lunch the next day. It was the best one I ever had. It was full of tomatoes, onions, pickles, pepperoncini (I picked those out), mortadella, ham, salami, black olives, mozzarella, and served with their yummy homemade Italian dressing.
The restaurant was pretty clean and spacious. Service was very prompt, nice, and attentive. There’s plenty of parking in the lot.
I’d call Vinny’s a LOCAL GEM!
