Took my 8-year old son to the first practice for the spring soccer program at Allen Field on 3÷6÷2013. I was appalled at the amount of taunting and teasing that went on. My boy went through the practice but came home in tears because of the apparent tolerance for bullying, taunting, teasing. The coach of my son’s team regularly left him out and did nothing when the other kids were tormenting him. My son loves soccer and played at MCRD where there is much more discipline. The kind of behavior tolerated at Allen Field was absurd. The first thing you learn in sports is to be a team, not berate the new kid. So, I WOULDNOTRECOMMENDTHISFACILITYTOANYONE. There is insufficient parking, a busy street to cross if you can’t park there, apathetic management, and the kids seem to rule the field, not the adults. And these people have a NOREFUND policy. Stay clear…

Decent field has some dirt patches but not bad. Parking sucks when there is a tournament. We had to park on the streets around the corner.
