If you can overlook the white slat walls and dated merchandising display racks, and wade through some strange buying decisions, there are gems to be found here for sure. The staff is friendly and helpful, but do offer the suggested upsells — of things that would fall within your taste level. This shop is not time consuming — you won’t be lingering here very long but may just leave with a unique piece to work out, and work it, for the night!

You know a store is trendy when it has copies of 944 at the cashier and Let’s Go is definitely trendy. It is located in the heart of La Jolla’s shopping district so the shop sees a lot of traffic from tourists and from La Jolla’s snooty residents. The clothes here are very young and they are almost bohemian, but I don’t know a single struggling bohemian artist who afford the pricey rags at Let’s Go. I saw a waffle shirt there for $ 94(I’m not joking) and all the faded jeans were over a hundred bucks. The staff was pretty friendly and it consisted of trendy, tall, slim, young girls with accents. They made a fashionable accessory to the stylish shop, but I found the general vibe of the store annoying. The music loud and the hippy clothes came at an un-hip price.

Although Go is affiliated with Let’s Go, it never procured me the same impression. I’m not a big fan due to the overall«grunginess» atmosphere. No matter whether they change their display, I always feel that I’m seeing the same unkempt/shaggy clothes: a bad deja vu.
