Sher is THE BEST! I moved to La Jolla from Hawaii and I was so scared to try someone new. After months of letting my highlights grow out I couldn’t stand it anymore. A friend recommended Sher and she lived up to exactly what I was told, if not more! She listened to me, never cut anymore than I asked for, did exactly what I asked for but turned out even better than I had thought it could look! I love going in to get my hair done — it never feels like a chore but more like catching up with an old friend! Such a great experience every time.

Sher is my girl! I have been going to her for years and have followed her wherever she goes. Everyone here is friendly and the relationship between stylists is professional and fun.
Though I usually go to Sher, Karen is another stylist that has talent beyond extraordinary. Set an appointment with either of these ladies and you won’t be disappointed!

I love this salon! It is warm and chic and I always have a great experience when I go.
I live in Chula Vista, but Sher has done my hair for years and it is so worth the drive. I feel like a queen every time leave :)

My favorite stylist Sher moved to this very cute salon. They have everything you need for a day of pampering or wanting to look like you just walked off a magazine shoot. They are up to date on all the latest hair styles, color, cut, makeup trends and nails! If you don’t go there then you’re missing out on the best hairstyle and nails that you can get. Don’t go someplace else and get a sub par hairstyle… go there and get worked on by either Sher, Karen, Katie, Sara Kelly and get all the compliments that you can get from complete strangers and that is so Instagram no filter worthy!

This is my second visit & I will continue to come back. Good atmosphere! Friendly people! Excellent hair products! Christine does an awesome job!

I have had my hair and nails done… Best salon in the county… friendly, classy, professional… and up on all the latest beauty trends… if you’re not getting your hair done here… you probably look funny!

Well I must say that this salon is as good as it gets. The ambiance is great. I had my hair done by Sher and she is extremely talented. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she delivered. I am so pleased with the results. Same goes for every other client I saw walk in and out of there. All of the stylist seemed to have great relationships with their clients. They had clients ranging from a teenage boy to a 90 year old woman. Which I think shows that they are very versatile.

Tessa!!! That is her name!!! I went into this salon last week & inquired to see if they take «Spa Finder Gift Cards» Tessa said the salon does not, but then she gave me her business card with a $ 50 credit for new clients. So basically I was going to get a free haircut from a «Salon» WOW! Ok!!! But I decided to get some highlights as well since it wasn’t going to cost anything for my cut. I can’t believe how AWESOME she was!!! She was so quick without the feeling like she was rushing. All I know is my appt was at 5:45 and I was out of there (with my hair styled & looking gorgeous) at 6:58. I have received SO many compliments I actually can’t wait to see her again. I would HIGHLY recommend her to EVERYONE I know!!! And when she’s washing your hair she massages it as well. Awwwwww. I just can’t say enough great things about this place, and mostly Tessa!!! Thank you making my hair look great as everything else this week sucked! Lol!!! Wish I could find a way to attach my before & after photo.

Bought a deal on Deal Me in Today for a Fire and Ice pedicure. Super cute salon and everyone was really friendly. My pedicure was great and she had great attention to detail. The foot and calf massage was also great.
During my pedicure I asked if one of the stylist had availability to do a blow out. They got me right in after my pedicure and Sarah did a great job on my blow out. One of the best blow outs I’ve gotten. Highly recommended.
My only complaint is that they only have one pedicure chair so it’s not great if you want to get pedicures with your friends. You could do a pamper day though where your friend gets her hair done during your pedicure and then you switch.
Again, cute salon and they did a great job.

I can’t rate them since they don’t answer the phone and don’t return calls. I bought a Deal Me In Today Fire and Ice Pedicure for $ 23 and can’t speak to anyone to make an appointment. It clearly states Appointment required. Have submitted a request for a refund on this deal.

This salon is off to a great start! I really like the décor and bright space inside the salon– classy yet energetic. The floors are kept clean and everything is neat and orderly. (This should go without saying, but I have been to salons where this wasn’t the case.)
I followed one of the stylists, Sher, from her previous salon, and I can’t say enough great things about her. It is obvious she takes her profession very seriously, and her style and color work is very impressive. (She posts examples of her work to social media and her website.) Even though I prefer a «boring» guy haircut, she still takes great care to make sure all the details are right. I often come in during the lunch hour, so she will do a second shampoo so I’m not shedding little hairs on my desk in the afternoon. Even though I tend to be rather shy and typically dread finding a new stylist, Sher made me feel right at home my first visit to the salon. I take her move to Salon Cosmopolitan as a great endorsement of the owner and what she is building in this great space.
Even though it’s in La Jolla village, there is convenient and free parking right by the salon. The salon is also near lots of great shopping and restaurants, so I can knock out some errands quickly on my way back to work.

If you want a Great Stylist go to Sher, I’ve been getting my hair done with her for over 10 plus years, not only is she a Great stylist, But a Great listener to achieve all wonderful Results! Go with Sher you will leave SATISFIED AS CAN BE … Take visit see Sher, You wont go wrong she ROCKS! :)

Not only is this salon beautiful but I felt like Id been coming here forever. Everybody was super personable. I got a mani & pedi from Felicia. She was amazing. One of the best ever! I highly recommend her. Thumbs up Salon Cosmopolitan! I rarely do reviews but I had to because service was above and beyond!

Terrible nail place, don’t waste your time and money on it! After sitting there 2 hours my nails looks unacceptable… I’m very disappointed if I could I would give 0 star or even less…

Made an appointment to see the oh so joyful Sher. Was welcomed with open arms and offered a drink right away. The Cosmo is under new ownership and they are beginning their transformation of the place to make it their own. With dark wood floors and shabby chic and floating shelves.
Like I said before Sher is a talented stylist as are all the woman are here. I had a wedding to attend in the evening so told Sher to do what she wished because I know nothing about beauty let alone my own hair! She per washed my hair blow dried and then flat iron and boom I became a whole new lady and ready to strut my stuff on the dance floor.
So if your in the neighborhood check this gem out, step in chat with the ladies walk-​ins are always welcomed and I promise u won’t be disappointed!
