History

Established in 2014.

Code 4 Live Scan is a husband and wife owned business. After 40 years in law enforcement, it seemed the best fit for our experience. We not only offer live scan fingerprinting, but also Pre-​Employment Background Screening, Notary Public, and passport photos services.

After obtaining all the required state licenses and insurance, we opened the doors «officially» in May of 2014. We have enjoyed continued success since then. The next time you or a friend require fingerprinting, come see us. Let us show you there is no better live scan facility in the county.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

I was born and raised in San Diego. I began my career in local law enforcement in 1983, and retired as a police supervisor in 2013. I was in charge of overseeing the live scan process for our department and decided to open a live scan facility in La Mesa.

I am a state certified fingerprint roller and private investigator. When we are not fingerprinting customers we are conducting pre-​employment background screening for local police agencies and cities.
