Just wanted to update my review with Dr. Hornbrook. After two years my veneers and bondings still look perfect. Thank you so much Dr. Hornbrook for your amazing work.

As a kid, I dreaded visits to the dentist because they were always the same — frustrating and painful. I’d be reminded to take better care of my teeth as cavity after cavity was drilled and filled. As an adult, before visiting Dr. Hornbrook, my experiences were pretty much the same. I’d watch what I ate, brush, floss, use mouthwash, and my teeth would still end up with holes year after year. (Yay crappy genetics!) I haven’t had a cavity in just over a year now thanks to Dr. Hornbrook and his hours of work fixing my mouth. All but 6 of my teeth have porcelain crowns but you’d never know from looking at my smile. And I’m actually smiling now because I love the way my mouth looks. I’m glad that I did my research and pick an experienced and well-​educated dentist. Was it expensive? Yes, because of the amount of work that was required. Was it worth it? YES. 110%. I’m now inspiring others around me to get their teeth fixed too =)

Dave has been my dentist for over 20 years, and for good reason. I feel like I get the best dental care there is, with excellent service from the entire staff.
These folks create smiles with their friendly, positive attitude and with their excellent, painless, state of the art dental care. Do yourself a favor and visit Dave and his team, we highly recommend them!

Been going to Dr. Hornbrook for close to twenty years. Moved away for about 5 years and would still fly back to San Diego for my dental needs. They have earned my complete trust. Going to the dentist has become a blessing to visit good friends. I highly recommend them and can’t say enough positive things to articulate the value of the confident smile they have provided me thru my career.

If i can only give 10 stars to dr hornbrook and staff i would. Beautiful and attentive staffs. Andrea is very good at what she does and answered all my inquiry as a first timer. And alyssa as dr hornbrook assistant is very compasionate and caring. And of course Dr. Hornbrook is the best cosmetic dentist ! I love my veneers i couldnt be happier ! Thank u soo much dr and im sooo blessed to have known u! U are Gods gift!

If there were more stars to give, I’d give more stars! There are good dentists and there are Master Dentists… Dr. Hornbrook is a Master. Pricey, but well worth it for the attention to detail and expert care you receive. GREAT dentist and equally wonderful staff. Simply top notch practice!

Dr. Hornbrook did an amazing job on my mouth. I needed a veneer for one of my front two teeth and he did the loveliest job matching them and making sure I was happy and comfortable even with the temporary. Now that the work is done and my mouth is settled I’m in love with the tooth and it looks really natural and feels like my own. Also, his staff was really friendly and accommodating and the entire experience was first class and well executed.

I had a filling done by one of the best cosmetic dentists there is, bar none. My entire visit, including x-​ray, exam, and the filling took less than 20 minutes. Dr. Hornbrook is a gregarious dentist who is also extremely personable. His work is world class. I highly recommend him as many of his patients are referred by others in the dentistry field to correct mistakes by less skilled dentsts. You will not be disappointed!

I had been looking for a Groupon to get my teeth whitened for a while and was thrilled when I saw this one come up. This was my first time getting my teeth whitened and it was a great experience. The office is extremely clean and beautiful. The staff is experienced, kind, and do whatever they can to make you comfortable. My mouth is much smaller than the average adult’s mouth, so they found other equipment to use in the office in place of the usual equipment. They gave me some great products to take home and use and allowed me to purchase additional items at a lower cost than usual. I would go back here without a Groupon in the future. :-) Overall, great place to go get work done on your teeth. You are in good hands if you go here.

I bought a Groupon for teeth whitening here and just received the service. The office is beautiful and the team working there are so friendly and courteous. The experience was so good I purchased additional items for at home treatment. And the actual service was excellent. My teeth look shiney and bright!

I just had my teeth whitened by Danielle who was absolutely wonderful! When I walked in the office I immediately greeted by Andrea who had the most friendliest smile and was so nice. The waiting area was very inviting, warm and had a beautiful fish tank. Danielle introduced herself and proceeded to show me around the office (very impressive) and then started the whitening process. Danielle was extremely attentive and was very quick to assist me with a wonderful coughing fit I had! I highly recommend this dental office. I’m loving my teeth and can’t wait to see the final results.

I went to this office for the first time yesterday to get my teeth whitened through the Groupon deal I bought. From the moment I walked in to the office I felt so comfortable and everyone was so welcoming. The office was VERY clean and the staff was so helpful. They had fresh cookies, candy, and refreshments for everyone and a beautiful fish tank in the waiting area. When I got called back the lady gave me a tour and directed me to the area I would be sitting at. She cleaned up my teeth a little before whitening them, she answered all my questions and explained the entire process. During the process they made sure I was comfortable and let me watch anything on TV. She came back several times to check on me and make sure I wasn’t in pain and when I was once, she quickly assisted. I could definitely tell a difference in my teeth and she also gave me 3 take home trays to boost them up over the next few days and vitamin lotion for my gums. Overall the experience here was great and I would definitely come back. I’ve already referred 3 people over who are all getting their teeth whitened as well.

Awesome practice. Super clean and state-​of-​art. Friendly staff. Dr. Hornbrook is the best at giving injections and I am super scared of needles. He did four veneers on me and they look so natural, no-​one even knows they are not mine. I have referred three people here and they have all had the same type of experiences. Good dental offices are hard to come by and this one is exceptional. 5 stars, BRAVO!

great service, nice office, VERY expensive but — NO pain for recent service.

My son and I are patients of Dr. Hornbrook. I got to Dr. Hornbrook via referral from another phenomenal physician, Dr. Lester Machado. My son is missing his laterals and as he is now a teenager, he is becoming self-​conscious. Both Dr. Machado and Dr. Hornbrook have done an excellent job in coordinating his treatment.
Since this is a review for Dr. Hornbrook, he has always been the most attentive and caring. The office does cosmetic and general dentistry. I left my dentist to join Dr. Hornbrook’s. The staff is extremely great and aware of all of the patients’ needs.
I know that some patients might be bothered that they have to pay for their visit and the office will bill your dental insurance. This might be confusing for some patients as you have to wait for the insurance company to reimburse you. Having a medical practice, I understand how crappy insurance companies can be with providers. The reimbursement rates are very low to the providers. Many people have the misconception that MDs or DDS make truckloads of money, but it doesn’t happen anymore.
I believe that Dr. Hornbrook is extremely smart with his business by having patients pay for their services. This helps understand that we all need great and dignified care. I understand that Dr. Hornbrook is able to provide higher quality treatments without skimping on what he might or not be allowed by the insurance company. His prices are reasonable, but most importantly, I know that I will get ALL of the care that I am in need of without hesitation.
I do know of a lot of providers that will limit services even though they are necessary because they will not get paid for them. Dr. Hornbrook as Dr. Machado have a great philosophy that patient care is the bottom line.
