A few months back I found this place on Unilocal and walked in to have a necklace clasp repaired, it was so affordable may as well have been free! It took only about 5 – 10 mins to repair. While waiting I browsed their gorgeous jewelry selection and I loved how unique the pieces were at this jewelry shop. They also cleaned my wedding ring set for free while I waited. I have since been back to have a bracelet repaired (don’t judge me on my broken jewelry, I have a toddler at home) and they are currently repairing that which is a little bit worse than my necklace was so they gave me a receipt to come back and pick it up in about 3 days, they cleaned my wedding ring for me again too. I was again pleased with their service and sincerity. I can see myself being a customer here for years to come, especially if my toddler keeps breaking my jewels, ha!

I was so impressed by Del Rancho Jewelers. I went in because I needed one of the prongs on my wedding ring tightened, it had bent a little. I asked him how much it would cost to fix and to have my rings cleaned. He told me it wasn’t bent too bad so he would fix it really quick and not to worry about it. He fixed it and cleaned both rings for me right there! I asked again if he was sure I couldn’t pay him and he said no, it was on him. Wow! What a nice guy! You don’t find customer service like that anymore. I would definitely recommend using Del Rancho Jewelers!

I had two rings with several modest diamonds, wanted them in a single asymmetrical ring. Described as best I could what I wanted, Steve took pencil and paper and sketched out a design that was exactly it – had the new ring ready for me in a few days and it’s absolutely perfect. His price was reasonable for custom designing, and I“d trust him with anything.

Steve is one of the most honest and responsible business owners that I think I have ever encountered in San Diego.
He does great work and stands behind it 100%.

I needed to have a battery replaced and a vintage Sterling Silver bracelet with rhinestones repaired… The Lovely couple welcomed me and my rambunctious 2 yr old with smiles… Steve was able to quickly replace the watch battery while I wait even though I was ready to come back later to pick it up… Steve explained to me what was needed to fix my vintage piece and gave me a fair price… I cant wait to pick it up!

Who would have thought I’d find such a gem (yes, I know and sorry) in sleepy Rancho San Diego! Several months ago I brought in my mother’s very old amethyst ring, from England, to have it sized — larger, ugh! Anway, Steve managed to find an exact match of the lovely old semi rose colored gold. The ring looked specatular and was all spruced up. Last weekend I stopped by to take another look at the varied selection he has, of what look like one-​off pieces of very well made jewelry. I found several lovely and varied styles and purchased them. The great thing is the pricing. His pieces are so affordable and I shall definitely go there when I need a gift or two. Plus, Steve really knows his stuff and is able to tell you all about what exactly you are looking at. I will go there before I go anywhere else in the future. Try it out, I don’t lie!

Steve is great and reasonably priced on both repairs and new items. Not only does he have beautiful pieces, he also creates one of a kind items that are incredible and of high quality. I know I can trust him to do great repair work at a good price and as well as buying pieces from him.
