Global heating and Air Conditioning

Called them this morning due to a problem with my furnace. Sam came about 2 hours later and fixed it right away. Great customer service and a great experience!

I was in a real pinch last September when the two ductless mini split AC’s I’d ordered (one for me and one for my cottage) were installed incorrectly by a well-​intentioned friend. The units were highly rated online, but the installation instructions were not. This was smack dab in the middle of last year’s heat wave. The thermometer was rising, as was the temperature in my house and rental cottage — *and* my concerns about my new purchase, particularly when my brand new units started leaking freon! My Johnny-​on-​the-​spot friend Michael called Esam at Global Heating and Air. Esam and his team were able to swiftly identify the problem, correct it before any damage was done and properly install my two new units, which are now working flawlessly — efficiently keeping my home and cottage cool in the summer and comfy cozy in the winter. The gentlemen at Global Heating & Air Conditioning are professional, courteous and reasonably priced. If you want quality service from experienced professionals who care about their customers, look no further. I’m recommending them to all my neighbors!

Called to get my furnace heater serviced since it hasn’t been running in awhile. Called last week & appt was set for today. Sal did a great job, very informative & friendly.

I called while it was still storming as our heating simply went out. Our central unit is in good shape, older, however, only cold air. They were the only ones who answered the phone, 3^rd company I tried. Scheduler was very busy but nice. I did not mind the call backs to get on a schedule. Sam came out and he was great — juggling a few clients — however, very much on top of it. His quote was slightly higher in the range we guestimated due to discovery once parts were replaced. Which was ok. He gave us a slight break on price to accommodate us and the initial quote. Nice, quality, honest — provided cell photos of the assembly parts that needed replaced — just as any professional should do. I would only recommend him. I see why this company gets 5 stars. Excellent service and quality people.

Very much a class act. We used Global after reading all of the good reviews that they got and we weren’t disappointed. We had central air added to our recently purchased home and the entire process was both reasonably priced and very stress free.
Sal goes out of his way to make sure you’re comfortable with everything and that it’s all working. We had trouble with our thermostat two months in and Sal is going to replace it with a different make and model. This isn’t something that he really has to do but it illustrates his great customer service.

Great service, very fast response time called late Friday here Monday 10am. Sam was very professional and friendly. He found the problem very quickly fixed the problem. Was charged there basic minimum. I can see why they have such a good rating will be call them back for any of my needs.

Where to start? We have called these guys twice in the past few months to repair damage that our *wonderful* mutt has done to our ac unit. Both times Sam has arrived same day (once within 5 minutes of our call!) to handle business and expertly repair the damage. In short: amazing rates, unparalleled service, and exceptional quality work. These guys are our «go-​to» repair men. 5 stars all around!

My husband found this company on Unilocal and is making me write this because he was so pleased with the service. They came on time on a Friday to examine our heater which had been behaving strangely for a while and told us that it needed a new control board. They were able to order the part and fix it by Monday… the total bill was around $ 585.
My husband is not a man of many words and will not give me more info and since I was not there I cannot elaborate further. Needless to say that the fact that he asked me to even write this speaks well of this company.

Sal gave great service, nice too. Diagnosed my heating units problem and worked around my schedule in order to fix it as soon as possible. Took time to explain the issue and go over my options. Even took a photo of my ducts to help me decide if I needed to get them cleaned (which they don’t do by the way).

Update 12/​16/​2015. Got a call from Sal after my review. He wanted to make sure I was 100% satisfied. I shared my concerns and he opted to come out again and answer my questions and double check on everything. Wow that’s going the extra mile! Appreciate the professionslism and follow through. Will use again. Trustworthy!
I purchased a Unilocal deal but then it expired. I had the credit of what I paid for it and then they made me pay the difference which was good. The only beef I have is that it sure seems expensive to pay $ 89.00 for what they did to service my heater (tune up?).change filter which I supplied and blow out the dust. that’s it. They were there less than an hour, maybe 30 minutes. besides that, they did a fine job. Hey, I could do it if i had a tall ladder (I have high ceilings) but I have no place to store it since I don’t have a garage.

After reading all the great reviews I called and spoke with Tanya.
She is polite & efficient, scheduling Sam to come all the way to Banker’s Hill to see why my AC wasn’t putting out cold air.
My tenant was thrilled that Sam was able to get things working during that first visit, although a part was required for a permanent fix. It took about a week for the part to come in, but in the meantime at least she was cool during the record heat & humidity.

I called for a quote and a gentleman named Sal came over within a few days to give me a quote. He gave me options and information about programs that were available. After that meeting I hired them to do the job. His guys who came for the install were professional, courteous and always asked before doing anything in my house which required construction. They put drop cloth down on my carpet and furniture so they could minimize the mess, which they did cleaned up after they finished the job.
Sal was always in constant contact through out the process, even when he didn’t have the best of news which he had no control over. He hired an awesome electrician who also was very professional and informative.

They weren’t the cheapest heating and air company, but we are very satisfied with the results and customer service and would definitely recommend them!

Very professional, reasonably priced, and honest about the work that needs to be done versus making up bogus claims as we’ve experienced. They came promptly and fixed our AC during this insane heat wave we’ve experienced recently!

I chose these guys based on the stellar Unilocal reviews and am now adding my own. Our AC gave in in my last week of pregnancy in September. We needed it fixed fast. Global delivered. Communication was top notch: I got a text message and a phone call confirming the repair tech (whose name I unfortunately don’t remember, but he was very professional and nice) was on his way. Got here. Assessed. Made recommendations, which all sounded very reasonable and valid to my electric engineer husband who is too crazy busy to do the work himself, but was content with everything that was recommended. Did the repairs. Charged what seemed reasonable as well. Will definitely return to these guys if/​when necessary.

The heat was getting to my family since our house takes direct morning and evening sunlight. Sunset is beautiful here but it boils our house with us reaching 85* downstairs and 90+ upstairs regularly. I started researching HVAC companies to see what it would cost to have central A/​C installed. I got multiple estimates in the process. Sal came to my house second (because of my scheduling not theirs) and gave a thorough look around while discussing the requirements and options I have in depth. I found out that my ducting was perfectly fine which saves a lot of labor but my furnace, being 30 years old, would have to be replaced to give proper airflow from the condenser (which everyone said). We not once spoke about price on the first visit. In my experience, that is a very good sign. The others that came in and gave spitball quotes right away wanted to charge me over $ 12 000-​$ 15 000. I know for a fact that was so bloated because they new no matter how much work was required that they would make a huge profit. Sal got back to me with an official quote a few days after our first visit. It was extremely reasonable at half the price all of the door to door people were saying. I discussed it with my wife and we decided to go for it. I scheduled the install for the next Saturday. The install crew were on time, ready to work, very respectful and professional. I am very happy with the work that they did. They had a LOT to do seeing as nearly everything had to be installed or replaced. They kept their work areas clean and did not leave any mess behind. I like the Wifi thermostat that came with my package and the cooling is already helping my family’s moods!
Literally the only negative thing I could even come up with is that even though I asked a few times whether it was really possible to do in one day or not I was always told yes, that they will work until it’s done. In the end with the two gentlemen busting their butts from 8am to sunset they had to bring a third person in. After that they ended up finishing the night with a little bit of work remaining. They promised to be back the very next work day (which was the Tuesday after Sunday off and Labor Day off, no issues with that) to complete the final touches. As promised they came after work hours (per my request given my schedule) on Tuesday and completed the job in a couple more hours. All in all this was not a big deal to me as I witnessed them going non-​stop all day Saturday. If they had slacked off and then ended up needing another day I would have been upset but that was not at all the case. It was just a big job to complete in a day.

I would highly recommend Global for fixing your Air Conditioning. This company came out to see us quickly during one of the hottest heat waves of the summer. The air conditioner was fixed on the spot and the price was very reasonable. This is a family owned business and will definitely use them again if necessary. Great company!

I was updated when he was on his way which was great. He came right on time and did a quick diagnostic. He was a very knowledgable guy and explained everything so I could understand what’s happening. I called Global and they came out within 48 hours to fix my A/​C. All the other companies couldn’t come out until next week!
Sal called me to give me a 30 mins heads up during the 2 hour window. He was super nice and knowledgeable. He also only took like 20 minutes to fix it and graciously put up with my crazy dogs.
The parts have a 1-​year warranty and Global has a great deal on Unilocal for $ 89 worth of work for $ 45.
I can bare this sweaty summer now!
