History

Established in 2010.

Lisa’s Cottage was formerly located in the village of La Mesa but has relocated to be inside Collectiquity (8600 La Mesa Blvd.), another former village store. You will find much of the same collectibles and antiques that the store used to have but with more hours and more parking!

Business Owner

Lisa S. was formerly in the mortgage business when, after being laid off in the mortgage meltdown, decided to pursue her dream to own her own store. A family illness has forced her to relocate to Collectiquity so that she can tend to the family member’s needs and hopes all her former store customers will come visit at the new location of 8600 La Mesa Blvd.

Lisa’s Cottage is a special store because it combines antiques, vintage, and resale. Most of the items are affordable and I really like the tasteful display.
Unlike Hillcrest, La Mesa has easy metered parking with diagonal spaces. Very pedestrian-​friendly.
Back to Lisa’s Cottage. Lisa, the store owner, is always finding new treasures so there’s always something new when I go. Like The French Garden Shoppe, I can always count on Lisa to make sure that if I’m buying a gift, she will wrap it up as such. Less work for me!
It’s really a pretty little store. It should not be La Mesa ‘s best kept secret, more people should know about it and go there.
