Great service all around friendly fast and felt welcomed. Best of all the quality of medication is top notch. Example Norcos are the good yellow ones not the white cheap brands.

White lady was rude and not friendly at all. I believe for repeat business or referrals to friends u must have had a good experience at that particular place. That was not the case here and WILL NOT be returning here what so ever !!! Sorry

I love this pharmacy! Very conveniently located next to my doctors office, extremely kind staff, and the cutest little therapy dogs! Almost all of my prescriptions are almost $ 5 and are filled instantaneously.

I switched over to this pharmacy about four months ago after years of thinking I had to go to a big change drugstore. I realized that I used to be treated likesomeone buying a big gulp at 7:11. The pharmacy that I was going to (don’t want to say which but it starts with a C) would never keep the drug that I am prescribed every month in stock. So I would have to wait in line turn in my prescription and then come back a couple of days later which was a real pain. This pharmacy has never let me walk away without my prescription filled and I’ve never had to wait longer than five minutes, okay maybe 10 sometimes. They are polite courteous and very professional andthey are always willing to answer any questions or concerns. I highly recommend this pharmacy and what most people don’t realize is it doesn’t cost any more to go to a small personal pharmacy than it does a big box store pharmacy.

This is the fastest pharmacy with the nicest people! It’s really convenient and centrally located in La Mesa. I switched from Rite Aid pharmacy and am glad I did!

Friendly and helpful staff! It’s nice to get personal attention here and not have to park and walk through a grocery store just for your pharmacy stuff. I’ll be back next time too. Also, Paisley, the staff ewok, was a wonderful greeter.

This Pharmacy should be called in and out because that’s how fast it takes. The service is top notch, the staff is very nice and professional, parking was free and easy i parked right up in front, nice area and safe too, very good prices and a sense of urgency to help with your personal needs

Wow! This is the most courteous, professional and speediest pharmacy I’ve ever been to. I live in Los Angeles area but still come home to La Mesa and go see my Doctor here. I wasn’t happy with my pharmacy so I decided to Unilocal and found this place. I thought the majority can’t be wrong and decided to try them out. They got my information, filled the prescription and pharmacist came out to counsel me all within about 10 to 15 minutes. She was very thorough in her explanation and even apologized for taking a long time to fill the prescription!
The experience was so pleasant I had to Unilocal them. The kicker is that they have a therapy dog named Paisley who kept me company while the prescription was filled. With all the large chain stores taking over, it’s wonderful to help honest, hard working independent pharmacy. FYI, I didn’t pay a penny more than the chain store.
I will be returning here for sure. I think as a consumer, we should support local independent place like this rather than support CVS, Rite-​Aid, alike super stores that treat us as numbers. Kudos to Price Rite!

After going here for the past 3 years I figured it was finally time to write a review. The staff at Price Rite has been nothing short of amazingly helpful from the very first time I walked in. They’ve worked with me in times of confusion about a particular prescription and have beaten the price of certain items over anywhere else in San Diego.
Even now that I live on the other side of San Diego I still drive there whenever I need to fill a prescription. I rarely use Unilocal or write reviews about anything these days but after my most recent visit I was so impressed and thankful for their kind service I figured it was the least I could do to let other people know what great service they have.

The staff is always friendly and willing to help! I had a problem with how the prescription was written but they were able to reach my doctor so quickly and kept me in the loop!
Unlike other pharmacies which seem to have a new face as the months go by… the staff at this pharmacy is there to stay! That says alot!

I’ve been with the same Doctor where Price Rite Pharmacy is located for years, so naturally when I moved, I kept the same Doctor in La Mesa. I must have passed by the pharmacy hundreds of times but one day, after being fed up with CVS pharmacy, I decided to stop by and see if Price Rite pharmacy can point me in the right direction. Since my insurance card had «CVS» logo on it, I thought I had to go to CVS, but as it turns out, you can go to ANY pharmacy.
The Pharmacist explained that «SHE» has been a Pharmacist there for 22+ years and she never advertises, rather, depends on word of mouth from her patients to grow her business. Such refreshing concept!
She took the prescriptions and had them ready in less than 5 minutes! She gave me a thorough consultation and treated me with such compassion and kindness, I had to Unilocal her Pharmacy. I also found out no matter where you go, your copay will be exactly same. I thought I would end up paying more if I end up going to an independent pharmacy. I can kick myself for getting lousy service (if you call it that) from the chain stores! Oh yeah, they are also a pet friendly Pharmacy and get this, they have a Therapy Dog named «Paisley» who kept me company while waiting for whopping 5 minutes for my prescriptions.
I was so pleased, I transferred all my prescriptions from CVS. They take ALL other insurances too. Since I live in La Jolla, they will also mail my medicines for free! I wish I’ve known about this place sooner. I hope they stay in business for a long time, because competent and professional pharmacy is hard to find these days!

It’s nice to give some love to the local owned store fronts — and that’s the nice thing about going to Price Rite Pharmacy and honestly one of the only things that makes us stay here.
The other side that kind of sucks is over course the hours they keep and not being open on the weekend doesn’t help the convenience part of it.
But, the do remember all your prescriptions and will call in to your DR off right there and take care of it for you. Unless you go to the DR around them I can’t really figure out how you would find them or how it could be convenient for you.
