Robert E. Bushman, M.D.

Hello, I am 66 year old female and 8 weeks ago I had an FX laser treatment with Dr. Robert E.Bushman. I look amazing! I would say ten to twenty years younger. A big plus, I can wear all the new makeup and look good doing it. I have had many years of experience in facial procedures, and a few times, have had to find a cosmetic provider to fix the mistakes. Another time I had to live with a mistake for many months, It seems I had to learn the hardest way. I was very careful choosing a doctor that meant all the criteria I was concerned about for this FX procedure. It is critical that you DO NOT let Dr. Robert E. Bushman’s «bedside manner» put you off. He is a kind and caring individual and is VERY serious about what he does, and, I might add, one of the best in his field, which includes cosmetic procedures. I wanted the treatment deep as I had smile and laugh lines around a mouth that turned down at the corners. I ask him to go as deep as was safe and he did. I am very fair and it has taken some weeks to feel good about wearing makeup at all, but that has not bothered me, I like my skin to breathe and I have a very supportive people around me. I did exactly as I was told and added a few other suggestions like Benadryl, no ice (my choice), Aquaphor for many weeks, (my personal choice for the extended time wearing it, I still use it over my creams and have for years now at night), and Epionce Medical Barrier Cream when I healed enough to be able to put anything on other than Aquaphor. I let my body be my guide and was very careful what I did and where. No sun, hat, even in late afternoon, sunscreen when I could stand it, and lots of deep breathing. I just had some Botox injections in my forehead and smile areas around eyes to help keep the wrinkles from coming back. Dr. Bushman’s artistic skill with Botox is absolutely amazing. I would definitely know about this as I have been using Botox or a like product for many years. Remember, it is not how much you do, it is what and where you put it that makes all the difference. I am extremely happy with the results as are most people I come into contact with. I get compliments whenever I go out, and that has helped with my self confidence. You can camouflage parts of your body but you can not hide your face. 10 star rating!!!

I think the doc is excellent but I am moving on. Twice I have waited for 45 minutes to an hour. No respect for patient time.

I went through the recommended three treatments for rosacea with the vbeam laser and didn’t notice any difference. The staff and Dr. Bushman were all very nice, but the treatment just didn’t work on me.

Dr. Bushman was very attentive to my concerns and helpful in dealing with the melasma that has been bothering me the past year. He also removed a mole painlessly and easily. I will be a returning patient.

Fabulous doctor. Excellent results. I couldn’t be happier with Dr. Bushman’s care. Many other doctors have attempted to help with a difficult skin condition. Dr. Bushman was able to explain the cause of my skin problems, and to diagnose a very effective remedy. I am extremely grateful for his extraordinary help!

We have been using Dr Bushman for our dermatology needs for over 15 years. Through all this time, he has been a very thorough, caring, skillful doctor. Recently we had a serious skin problem, which he took care of as soon as he heard of it. He is not only a great doctor, he is a very nice, professional man.
