Angie came to my house to meet my pit bull Buck, who had leash aggression. She was amazing-​we had a few lessons and also a group lesson with other shelter dogs who needed socialization.
She has an incredible intuitive way with dogs and also uses positive reinforcement for training. I highly recommend her.

Earlier today, Susan, Kelly and I had our first session with Angie. She took us through a detailed evaluation of blu’s behavior and the tools she will be helping us develop so that we can train blu and help him become that happy dog who is a model citizen.
She made all of us very comfortable and cultivated an engaging learning environment, not only for blu, but for us as well. I think we learned more than blu today.
We enjoyed the session and could tell she had a true passion for helping the pets and their owners.
Truly, a genuine experience. Definitely give her a shot.

Angie is great with explaining dog behavior and showing you how to notice subtle signs that a dog is showing. This has been important to know when introducing new dogs into our home and helping to show my brother and father what to look out for. She has been very helpful and informative when explaining how to do a dog to dog introduction. I highly recommend her services as an experienced dog trainer.

Angie is a behavioral genius… seriously.
When my brother first adopted his rescue german shep/​malinois mix, Rhea, she had a horrible habit of pulling him out of his wheelchair on walks, to go dart after squirrels and other small animals.
Since he lives out of town in the northern LA, I consulted with Angie on methods of behavioral management and how my brother and I could go about re-​shaping Rhea’s habits.
Notables:
— Positive Reinforcement: Angie’s behavioral plan consisted purely of positive reinforcement techniques. That means, no poking the dog in the side as punishment, yelling, prong collars, any of that junk. Personally, I love that.
— Personability: Angie doesn’t just speak dog, she speaks well with people too! She is very patient, friendly, thorough, and funny!
In a couple of weeks time, Rhea showed drastic improvement. Today, while she still shows some interest in squirrels, she no longer reacts to them, and keeps by our side while we walk her.
I learned a lot from Angie, and have been able to pass on and apply some of her knowledge and teachings to both family and friends’ canine behavioral situations.

I love Angie. Her classes are fun and informative. I really love her Training On The Trails workshop. Nothing like starting out with a bunch of noisy reactive dogs and finishing up with a quiet, well adjusted group.
