I had an unpleasant experience with this business.
I brought in a local competitor coupon a few weeks ago and asked if he would honor it, but he said no. Okay, no big deal, I just went to the other place.
About one week ago I broght in a new pocket watch to ask about how to install the battery provided by the manufacturer. He said the back just needed to be popped off and said, «just one minute» After a couple of minutes he brought out my watch and said, «five dollars.» I was surprised that he charged me at all since he never mention it was going to cost anything. I have had multiple businesses do this for free when you provide the battery. I mentioned that he didn’t say it was going to cost anything or ask me if it I was willing to pay for it. His response was, «you didn’t ask me!» I explained that it is his responsibility to tell the customer how much something is going to cost before doing the work. He was very rude during the entire experience and did not seem the least bit concerned about customer service.
