Ordered(2) TWO six ft subs for my son’s little league fundraiser… Showed up to what they told me was my order, I even asked«you sure that’s(2) six ft subs — sure look small»?!? And they say yes… Well once @ the event figured out nope… Only ONE6ft sub… Called to get the other one delivered and they said they didn’t have the right bread and they had to refund my money. Kids went without eating due to their mistake. I paid $ 192 for one 6ft sub. Lucky for them I got my money back, eventually… Ugh. Then come to find out, after I came back for a refund, no one knew how to refund money on the register. Sitting here as I type waiting… Wow… First time and last time for the local little league.

Stopped in today for a sandwich. Couldn’t believe it when they said they didn’t have any napkins! How could this happen in any food serving establishment? What does it say for their management? It says to me that whoever that is, is not doing their job! Sorry, but I still can’t believe this! My goodness, after reading all the other reviews, I am now more convinced that they need some good management. What a shame!

Usually I go to this sub way which is right down the street from me they are nice and friendly but tonight I went there and they didn’t have any bread i eat they had a couple footlong Italian white and a jalapeño bread which I don’t eat spicy so I’m wanted my foot long tuna they didn’t have any spinach I love spinach and the veggies look like they were worn out they were scraping the bottom — I know it was late but I spent $ 9 for my sandwich and it didn’t have the ingredients that I wanted on it; and the white bread they served me was stale, I was so disappointed and I was so hungry– i paid $ 9 for a sandwich and a bag of chips — I asked the clerk for a discount the manager was helping because the one clerk couldn’t handle 4 people in line– what a night !! Don’t salute me yet you get no stars from me

I like the location of this subway and it’s clean HOWEVER they NEVER have enough staff working. I’ve been here a half a dozen times and there is always only one person working and the line is 5 – 7 people deep. The one employee makes the sandwiches, refills containers and bread, and is the cashier! Takes forever to get food. Don’t come to this location if you’re in a hurry! In a hurry, go to the one on El Cajon Blvd and Baltimore Dr. Yes, I typed this whole thing while waiting in line and there are still two more people ahead of me! I will say the girl working is very sweet and trying hard! The staff isn’t the problem it’s the staffing that’s the problem.

I hit up this Subway after work for a quick tuna sandwich on wheat. I ordered the 6″ combo with a bag of Cheddar Sub chips and an iced tea. I was disappointed however when I learned then did not make unsweetened iced tea. Anyways, I have to admit that I was pleased with the generous amount of tuna they put in the sandwich which tasted quite good I may add. The pickles, onions, and tomatoes I added where crisp and tasty. The wheat bread was pretty good, but on second thought, I probably should of had it warm and toasted because it was a little dry, but not much. When I arrived, one of the employees was busily cleaning up the floor, always a good sign to see, and the other helped make my tuna sandwich. The employee was friendly enough, and appreciated when he brought out a fresh bash of tuna for my sandwich.

I must say, the subs are always good here, however, if we could just get the service to be a little quicker and not so Chatty! I do like this location since its really close to my house, but gosh, if only we could get some employees who weren’t right out of training. But the last time we were there it was 8:30 in the evening Oct. 26th2014 and usually when we walk in there is always someone who yells out«Welcome to Subway…» but there wasn’t anyone at the counter and we stood there for about two mins. before I had to say«Hello?» Then an young girl came casually walking out from the back and instead of acknowledging us right away, she instead continued to finish her conversation she was apparently having with a young man working in the back! Seriously! I had to say«Hello» again just to get her to stop chatting! She finally helped us and the young man finally came out to help too… geeze… I guess it’s hard to come by good help these days… hmmm

Went into the store today to grab a sub for lunch. Was greeted with the«welcome to subway» usual greeting and there were about 4 customers total. Two were having their subs made, one ordered, an I was next in line. There I stood as the clerk emptied the ovens and began restocking the bread in the racks. Not once did she acknowledge me nor say«I will be right with you». So, out the door I went without any food! I am sure due to its location that they get busy during lunch time, but since I had limited time to get my lunch, I thought their customer service sucked today! Guess they didn’t need my money, and there is no way I will be back at this location. When I retuned back to work, I mentioned my experience, and all of them had the same experience. Since we all work at a fairly large school, I am sure word will spread to avoid this particular Subway. With so many other options in the area, I don’t see this place lasting if they continue to provide poor customer service. I do have a subway in San Diego that is close to home and always get great service. The La Mesa location wouldn’t even come close to the service at other locations.

We eat lunch here because we live nearby and shop at the Albertsons next door. The food is so-so. I’m not too impressed with the quality of the meats and rubbery chicken. The male server should completely cover his facial hair when making sandwiches. Hygiene standards for food handlers need a bit of work.

I go to this one often bc of the location. It is right by my house. The 6inch breakfast sandwich on flat bread is bomb! I do have to give them only 4 stars bc there is a young lady that works here who is extremely slow and can’t multi task. I think she gets nervous when there is a line of people and tries to rush and gets distracted. When she’s working I know I’m in for a treat! :-) despite from her work ethic she is really sweet. Lol

This is possibly the worst Subway I have ever been to. The staff is slow… VERY slow. They suck at making a sandwich — I have never had a nicely made sub there. I have seen the staff rubbing their nose and wiping their forehead with their sleeve on the middle of making subs and keep going like nothing happened. Avoid this location at all costs. There is another one close just search. Trust me on this.

I’ve been to this location 3 times. I’m sad to say that while the staff is friendly and attentive, there has to be some kind of mistreatment of the food going on. I’ve been sick from this location 3 times. No more.
