The chicken wings are delicious! Get them when they are fresh you won’t regret it. Among other things you would have to try the orange chicken too. This place is cheaper than panda and its family owned. It does get busy during lunch hour. CHICKENWINGS.

A coworker recommended me to this place a while ago. He told me to try the chicken wings, and I did. This review is a bit overdue but the chicken wings are delicious. It’s spicy and crunchy. Plus this place is on the cheap side for Chinese fast food. It’s about 3 – 4 dollars cheaper than panda.

Oh, man… who messes up orange chicken? Pros:clean, friendly staff, cheap food. Cons: The orange chicken was tasteless and had a strange texture. I checked to make sure it was chicken and even now I am not convinced it was. The fried rice is also bland and has very little vegetables. I am not sure if ownership changed because the food isn’t the same as before. For chinese food in around La Mirada, try Wok Star on imperial and La Mirada Blvd.

First time here, I got here and got fresh orange chicken it was super hot and crispy(1:30pm) I make sure to go to Chinese food places around lunch time to avoid soggy food. It’s fast food what do u expect. Anyway it’s not the best but it’s good especially when fresh.

Dipped in randomly to this Chinese Deli Fast Food, and it tastes pretty decent. Not too oily, Orange Chicken and BBQ Pork are on point. Fried rice and chow mein. Standard stuff for Chinese fast food. Bad news is, the cost is way over-priced. 2 meat sides, half fried rice and half chow mein, for $ 8.24 is laughable. A place called Rolling Wok serves you 3 sides, has about 20 items to choose from, plus you get a small soup with your combo, all for $ 4.99 Beat that!

Rice noodles were so good. You must try them, also the teriyaki chicken was really good as well.

I went here because of the good reviews but I was VERY disappointed. I had the orange chicken and beef & broccoli dinner. The orange chicken was bland and the beef was also in need of more seasoning. I did enjoy the broccoli. It was crisp and not soggy like most places. The noodles were dry and rice was ok I guess. I also didn’t like that they didn’t have an ATM in the place and they charge .50 cents for every order. Usually I know places charge if your purchase is under a certain dollar amount but I guess that’s not the case here. All in all, I will not be returning… the reviews are much too high for the quality of food!

This place is alright. I’ve been spoiled with some more legitimate Chinese take-out type food, but when you’re desperate for some and need to be cheap, this place is perfect for that fix.

The ratings are a bit high for the quality. Pros: Close to home Friendly workers Large eating area Ok food Cons: The meat dishes are all very soggy with an off taste The place will suffice, but I can make better Chinese food at home

Mediocre food at best. chow mein was great, but the rice tasted of old oil with a disgusting texture. Teriyaki chicken was well cooked and tender. Orange chicken tasted bland. The fortune cookie I had to spit out, stay away from those. I won’t go back there are much better places for similar cost.

This place is cheap if you want grab and go Chinese food. I always get mad at myself when I head over and it’s closed, usually because I didn’t pay attention to what time it was and they had already closed for the evening. I do that a lot– sort of a space case, and yes– I know they post the hours on their window and Unilocal profile. Back to it– their combos are cheap and they will definitely get you full. The family that works behind the counter is super friendly to everyone that comes in. I always think it’s a nice touch when people greet you and you genuinely feel like that want your business– I feel that way with owners, thus why I continue to return. I recommend a two item combo when I visit and it’s usually the Orange Chicken which is nice and crispy, but not too sweet and the Kung Pao Chicken that has a little bit of a kick to it. The chow mein is good, but I usually always opt for the fried rice completely instead. That’s usually the first thing I dive into when I get home before even working on the entrees!

Although my family disagrees with me, I think this is the best chinese food around South Whittier. It’s not the best you’ll ever have, but you’ll be satisfied. I like the kung pao and orange chicken as well as the mongolian beef. They are tasty. The staff is always friendly. I would recommend it to those in the area

The food here is pretty good, BUT the reason I frequent this place weekly is for their mixed Wonton soup! This stuff is awesome! I have tried this soup at 4 other Chinese food places and they CANNOT come close to how good Chinese Deli makes theirs! I highly recommend it! In fact I’m eating it now ;)
