Absolutely delicious!!! We are new to the area and didn’t feel like driving so searched for delivery and stumbled upon Golden Wall. We ordered the dinner for three and had plenty leftover for lunch and dinner the next day. The orange chicken was very tasty, the broccoli beef was just right, the chicken low mein n rice were cooked just enough. We will definitely order again!!! Keep up the great work!!!

Awesome food! And a hoppin spot… On a Sunday night an hour before they closed the place filled up. If you live locally and haven’t been here, give it a try. We live in Ventura County and were up here on vacation and glad we found this place!

One more restaurant that we had not been to. I was in the mood for Kung Pao, Unilocaled and placed an order to go: Kung Pao Chicken Spicy Salt & Chicken Beef Total with tax came to $ 30.64 Pros: Very friendly employees. Good customer service skills. Cons: Kung Pao was not spicy at all. Spicy salt chicken also did not have a kick to it.(–1) Portions were a little bit smaller compared to other Chinese restaurants I frequent.(–1)

This place has the best Chinese food I have tasted in the area! Whenever I want food Chinese food or need to order takeout this restaurant is always wiling to deliver. Their delivery times are usually within 30 minutes even if they say it will take longer. Their portions are always well sized. Their dinner for two always results in leftovers because they stuff the containers! Best deal on Chinese food that tastes delicious from morning to night! I will continue to frequent this restaurant as I already do at least once a week!

This place becomes and addiction.. Especially considering they DELIVER! !! I love the walnut chicken nothing can compare to the creaminess with a subtle sweetness. Rice is always cooked to perfection weather it’s white, brown, or fried and they always come to the door with a sweet demeanor even when I’ve ordered right before close. We don’t order small either with a family of 6 and they sure do hustle as fast as they can every time

One of our favorite spots for Chinese food! Everything is served family style. The first time we ordered, we thought the portion sizes were small but after eating, the portion sizes were perfect! Too much to be honest… but hey — who’d complain about that?(Not this family). The dinner for 3 is our usual and definitely worth a try! You won’t be disappointed!

Placed an order over the phone for delivery and was pleased rhat i could pay by card over the phone. The staff pleasantly took my order, however without a menu in front of me I relied upon their online menu which did not list their lunch speacials, so I basically ordered dinner portions. Had i known the speacials I would have opted for an extra plate to have leftovers for other meals as the delivery minimum is $ 15. Unsure at the quality of the takeout I decided to play it safe and ordered spicy salt and pepper tofu appetizer and the moo shu chicken. The food arrived in the said time frame of 30mins during lunch rush and was still piping hot when served. All the food was packed excellently so no spills or saugy sides and there was even a menu to boot! Lol I was pleased that the tofu came with a side of lettuce and some type of rice vinegar and the moo shu was accompanied with rice(if you prefer to eat it more traditional) and the madarin pancakes. I like to mix mine with the tofu and eat ontop of rice. There was a decent amount of food for the price which might be slightly higher than some spots, but I think its more so due to the area but the food is good nontheless.

This Chinese place is pretty good for the price. Their portions are a serving of 2 in my opinion, but the reason I’m giving 3 stars is because I feel like the service can step it up a notch.

We have ordered from here a few times and each time everything has been delicious! We have had the house combonation fried rice and lo mein(pictured) orange chicken(pictured), Mongolian beef, Kung Pao chicken(pictured), shrimp/beef/chicken with garlic sauce and Hot & Sour soup. Their portions are huge so there is enough for a family dinner or for leftovers the next day. Delivery is prompt and food arrives hot and fresh! You won’t be disappointed!

Chinese food on point!!! Ordered the veggie lo mein which is delicious. The eggplant which my boyfriend loves! And the Kung pao chicken which has the right amount spice. I’m definitely coming back and trying some soup! The prices are good and the service is great. They do have a B rating but don’t let it discourage you. Will be seeing you soon Golden Wall.

Went to this place after my parents had brought me some leftovers that were very tasty(as far as leftovers go). Had a Saturday night off and decided to give it a try. Went in around 7 and got a seat right away. The staff was very attentive and knowledgeable. I asked the server about some kind of beef that I had tried from my parents leftovers and she knew what it was right away. We ordered some chicken chow mien and the orange beef. It was so amazing. Just how I remembered but better because it wasn’t sitting in the fridge for a day. I can’t wait until I go back, the orange beef is calling my name.

I would’ve given it five stars but it had a B food safety rating. Came here on a weekend and the lunch specials(which I’ve found only to be applicable Monday through Friday at some places) were still applicable. Choice of egg drop or hot & sour soup, an egg roll, side salad, a bowl of fried or steamed rice, and a decent sized entrée: definitely not bad for under $ 7. I ordered the beef & broccoli which was very flavorful. The restaurant itself was a bit of a surprise. It’s located in a very outdated plaza. I almost was expecting a cafeteria/Panda Express set up where you point at what you want, but there were booths on both sides of the restaurant and tables in the middle. It was welcoming. Hole in the wall. Hidden gem.

«Great Food, Huge Portions, Family Prices« My wife and I with 2 friends of ours, visited the Golden Wall Chinese Cuisine restaurant in La Mirada, CA last week, and had a great meal. We ordered the Family dinner for 4 which includes 4 egg rolls, Orange Chicken, Beef with Broccoli, Kung Poa Chicken, Chicken Lo Mein, and Brown or steamed rice, all for $ 31.95. We also order the vegetable Egg Fu Young, which was very good. Eric our server who has been with the restaurant for 8 ½ years, was so friendly and nice as he answered all of our questions about the dishes, and served us well. The food at the Golden Wall is delicious ! The portions are Huge, and the Prices for what you are getting are low. This small strip mall restaurant is a must visit if you are in the La Mirada area of California. and what to taste some wonderful Chinese Cuisine.

3.5÷5 stars For the area, this is worth going to if you are in the mood for Chinese food. I don’t understand how the majority of Chinese places here are fast food(and not good). Given the options within reasonable driving distance, I would give it 4 stars. Comparing to Chinese food that is the quality of other areas, 3 stars.

The Golden(hole in the) Wall! Five stars! This strip mall has a few restaurants that all are just so good it will be a tough choice who you go with! This restaurant is tucked away in a strip mall that looks like it’s had it better days! I just hope they never relocate to a swankier spot! From the outside it doesn’t look like much(just like the others) but when you walk in, you see a cozy little restaurant with some booths and tables in the center! On the weekends there might be a wait for a table but just be patient my young grasshopper… it will be your time soon! There are options to have dinner specials that come with two, three or more dishes or they have the full menu! Which ever you choose you will not be disappointed! I do recommend you get the Wor Wonton Soup! Either for there or take home to enjoy the next day! You also get your little hot tea pot for $ 1.00, no its not free :\ and for the health nuts out there, they do offer brown rice instead of white! Service is awesome! A slight language barrier but I basically just nodded and smiled and so did he! We got along wonderfully! *TIP: THEYDELIVER!!!

This place has some GREAT Chinese food. Driving by, you would probably never expect this place to be so great, and that’ if you even saw it at all! This place is tucked away in a shopping center(look for the giant Marshalls!). But like always, the Unilocal reviews brought me here! My boyfriend and I decided to get two items to split, because we weren’t too sure how big the portions would be. We decided to go for the orange chicken and the green beans, which both has pretty great reviews on Unilocal. However, when it came time to order, we had a bit of trouble communicating with our waitress. Here was our confusion: Both the items we wanted were on the lunch AND entrée menu, so we were wondering if there was a size difference, and if so, we wanted to smaller option. I’m not sure if it was a language barrier or the waitress didn’t really understand what we were trying to ask, but there was a lot of confusion while ordering! So I’m still not sure which version we got, but we just went with it, and all was fine! This food was DELICIOUS! Probably the best orange chicken I’ve ever had, and the green beans were so garlicy and amazing. And we even had some leftovers. Aside from the communication errors/confusion, I can’t really say anything bad about this place. If you are in the area, you should give this place a try! It’s one of the better Chinese foods that I’ve had.
