Me and my friends are always taken care of here. I love this little spot. It’s a cash and beer only bar, and it’s rarely crowded.

This place is very comforting. The woman who runs it makes you want to come back. This place sells only beer but it is promising. GO!

Was there again 3 days ago and yes it is still an awesome spot! The lady running the bar is just the best! Popped fresh popcorn for us as soon as we arrived!

My favorite dive bar. The lady is super friendly and down to earth. She gives the bar patrons free popcorn and seeds. The beer is also cheap. A good local spot to go to if you just want to have a drink without the fanciness.

This is a great place to enjoy a good ol bottled brew for a good price. If you speak Spanish then it gets better if not, it’s still a good time. It is a Mexican dive bar, but its a good one. The owner is very nice and makes you feel at home. Good stuff.

It’s an old school TJ style BAR! They have a juke box that plays regional mexican music. That’s what’s so great about it! The owner Angela is cool as hell but don’t try to mess with her boy! :-) The broads that were expecting more out of this place should go hang out at Chili’s… No ATM or debit here. Bring CASH!

This place fucking rules!!! This is my kind of bar, only thing missing is hard alcohol. The lady is super nice, beers and wines are cheap, they make good micheladas and have ceviche,(which is more of a mexican shrimp cocktail, but you wont hear me complain!) Made me feel like I was at La Costena in DTLA, just less foot traffic.

Pros: Great customer service!!! Cheap beer. Chilll atmosphere. Juke box. Dive bar. Chill/diverse crowd. Cons: cash only but that’s not really an issue if you can afford $ 4 beers!(If you can’t, you might want to stay home.)

PARTOFTHEDIRTBAGRUNREVIEWSERIES: Las Delicias means the Delicious Ones(referring to beer), cause this place is almost always devoid of what many consider pretty people. CASH and BEER only. Adjacent to the much more lively Draft Picks, Las Delicias is an easy miss for the person not noticing the dimly lit corridor adjacent to DP, with the faint sign above the entrance. Now this place is as authentic a dive as any in the tradition of Mexican roadhouses(that’s cantina to you guey!) as it only serves beer in a bottle or a can. It’s got its regular selection of Mexican imports and domestic. The prices are decent, and the poor spot(as far as I could tell on Saturdays and Fridays) seemed dead. The most people I’ve seen was 2 couples, a pair of older men at the bar, and a small trio of musicians playing songs for each patron willing to part with their money and sing along with them. I loved the idea belting out ‘Camioneta Gris’, but alas I finished my Tecates way too fast. The bar has no frills about the place, and I vaguely remember staying there but for about 10 – 20 minutes tops. The lady at the bar is very nice, and has her santitos in proud display that made me feel at home with my relatives back in Mejico. The bathroom is not a nice sight, but I found it funny that they have a slot machine for condoms, Spanish fly, and other adult fare. Las Delicias is a nice little spot to get away from the crowds over at Draft Picks for a while, if you don’t mind the cantina crowd, and like dark, quiet, and lonely places. Dios vaya contigo amigo, or at least that’s what I think the musician told me when I left.
